    Poor ol' CoS, never gettin' much love...but most of us can see why!

    I'm amused by "I Think I'm Going Bald," but I feel like I'm laughing with them...whereas I think, uh, I've kinda been laughing at them in the more over-the-top parts of The Necromancer. So I'll choose it as least fave.

    I used to call its companion "The Fountain of Lameness"--but I actually like most of its parts. smile.gif

    This one is Rushchic's, and I know some of you have seen it before, but since it just made a reappearance on THIS excellent thread over at Counterparts, I thought it was worth repeating, with her commentary:

    All I was aiming at with the reference to Freud was that most English-speakers who do not know German do still know to pronounce the good doctor's name not as"Frood" but as "Froid"--and if they know that, then they shouldn't be surprised that "Freund" is pronounced "Froind"! smile.gif

    For my 100th post, I would like to say that although it's fun to look at Geddy

    (all different kinds of fun! amusement...excitement...etc!), it's hearing Geddy that I really love:

    was just listening to "Subdivisions" on our newly-arrived Imaginations on Fire bootleg, and loving that extra kick he gives--as on the album (but not always in concert)--to "in the backs of cars"!!!

    It just lays me prostrate...what can I say? :bow: wub.gif

    BassUnderPressure, I'm surprised! I like the nice li'l acoustic ditty that In The End starts out as...and love the moment when it comes back big & bad & electric!

     

    I don't hate any of these songs, but Rivendell does the least for me...

    Ah, the '80s!!! That shirt makes me laugh... (Better than those eyeshadow pics* from the 70s though!)

     

    *oh, and you're right: Geddy and Alex were definitely wearing blush & lipstick in those photos too! (A necessity--otherwise the foundation makeup would leave them looking pale & wan!) tongue.gif
