Neil's death marked the beginning of three years of hell for me.  The moment we learned he was gone was the moment my life started to fall apart.  I still haven't put it back together.

As long as I live, I will never forget that day.

    Miss you, Neil...

I feel you. I miss him so much, wish he was still here.

26 years since Carl Sagan passed away.  I still mourn him.

I will mourn Neil till the day I die as well. Not in the way that I dwell on it every day or let it impact my life, but ya know...I'll always remember the day that "Rush" died. I'm preparing myself for how I'll feel when Geddy/Alex die too.

  3. My older brother got me into them when I was about 8 years old or so. Fell in love pretty quickly and saw them live on Snakes and Clockwork. You may be annoyed that you missed the Clockwork Angels Tour, but I saw that tour and missed R40. And I'm annoyed I missed R40 cause that was their last one and sounds like the setlist was better!

i think honestly it's fair to list The Beatles.  I mean from the moment your born you're just told how GREAT AND AMAZING AND THEY ARE THE BE ALL END ALL OF POPULAR MUSIC FOREVER AND EVER!!!!!!! It's literally installed into your brain.

and they did change the game but at the end of the day........they're just songs:laugh: and i say this as a big fan.

Thank goodness, I thought everyone here was gonna hate me for listing them! I was waiting here like..:bolt:

Also, another one that comes to mind for me is Nickelback.

  6. I think mustard is great for hot dogs, sandwiches, sausages, and I'm sure some other things I'm not thinking of. Definitely a good condiment. I wanted to order the beer that Ged and Alex made as well, but I don't know if they're shipping to the US or not.

  7. Yes. He really has a way with words. He had some weak moments but his strong ones outweigh them in my view, and no brilliant musician is at their best 100% of the time. But his lyrics have had a profound impact on my life, especially Subdivisions, The Pass, Bravado, Afterimage....just to name a few top ones.
