Love Geddy on the bass to whichever sound he uses at the time, he still makes me swoon with music that he plays...alongside with Neil and Alex!!

Time to update this. Yes!!!! I too get the "feelings" whenever I hear them play on and on in concert from the 1970s or 80s. Mostly the G.U.P. Tour of 1984. The ways that Geddy sings is also another "send shiver down my spine" moment-both live and in the studio. Gahhhh....He is soooo...hot there!

To the person that had said that our Geddy is ugly, shame on you! Geddy is someone who is the most beautiful, kind, sweetest, down to earth person I have ever seen. He brings us fans joy and hopefullness when we are feeling down and out. He, Alex and Neil are goodlooking to all of us. They are there to make us smile with their goodlooking quality. I love them and always will. So if you have nothing to say, DONT say anything at all!

I love, love, LOVE the 80s Geddy!!! He so cute and lovely in that era. I can honestly say he so handsome between 1985-1988 when he sported that "Dave Crockett" hair. And also from the GUP Tour vid with that shoulder hair..gawdddd...he is dreamy!

This was the hardest decision I've had to make in a long while! I chose 80s Geddy simply because 1987 Geddy floats my boat with the glasses and the hair :drool:

If she have hurt one of you, then, I am sorry. But it is sad to sink to that level and say that she was mean is unthinkable even going so far as to say that some of us are mean, if you push our buttons, then yeah, we can get mean if you bashed of us on here with petty comments. So not all of us ARE mean, just sweet and friendly. It is sad that GedsJean is no longer here to defend herself. But it is why we must lean on each other for support. It is what she and Geddy, Alex and Neil would want.

Geddy is so cute!! But I love his 1980s looks lol!! But he is cute when he 12 tho...I sometimes keeps my crushes to myself but this is the only one I can say...I love the way that he sings (The 1980s more) and played the bass. He is amazing and beautiful. What more can I say? If I was older, I would've married him! lol

I LOVE Grace Under Pressure!!! The way that they make you feels what you are pics in your mind while the songs are playing...Whoa!! The Live versions of these songs bring you chills and happiness and love the way that Geddy sings 'em. Like "Red Sector A", what a pleading heartfelt emotions running through that song.. :dweez: :drool: :kisshug: Rush to me is perfect in every ways that they do, non album or album. I truly feel whatever they wrote and play because it is what they did so well. It is why GUP is my most fave album. It may have been different from the first 3 of their albums, but, to me, this will stand out as one of the best of all times.

RIP Mr. Perry!!! So sad to hear of this sad news..

But for those who still feel lost I am here and so is Rush...Whenever I feel lost or sad, I play Rush...Geddy's voice soothing and sweet to listen to and they all take to places that I wished I was seeing and feel. So, how about you gals, where does Rush music takes you?

I am falling in love with the 80s era Rush. I own Permanent Waves, MP, Signals, and the last album of 2010s, CA. I tend to lean into the 80s Rush more now because of the way that Geddy sings, his mid range vocals are on firm tune on these albums. I grown to love this era more than the 90s or even 2000 era of Rush. It bring everything into view of what they tried to do in those years. I for one think that the 1980s Rush get so overlooked by a few fans just because it was not the 1970s Rush where poor Geddy was using his so high vocals in them. Sure, I loved "2112" (It is my most top 10 albums!!) but I feel that that song get wayyyy overplayed too much to the point of looking for other albums by Rush to listen to. I so much enjoyed "GUP" and "Power Windows" and "Hold Your Fire". I also think that Geddy in the "Power Windows" looks liked he would've been in another band-Hair Metal!!! For that, I somewhat forgive him with that hair of his. :laughing guy:The music vid of "The Big Money" tends to make me laugh so hard I cant take Ged's looks anymore!!

 

I wished I was alive to see the one from the Grace Under Pressure tour. I think they were amazing!!!
