  1. He is a very influential bass player too....Geddy mentions him as a very creative bass player....on top at 75 :codger: he is still rocking the stages all over North and South America ....I wish Rush could do that again!!!

  2. Sir Paul Mc Cartney doesn' think it is time to pack yet at 75 :codger: doing 2.50-3 hr hr concerts every other night and touring to south america and australia this year I think....seems not to be afraid of dying on stage this gentleman. My wholehearted respects.

  4. Welcome RSM2112

I've been playing the guitar since I was a kid ( started in 1979 ), and I've gotta admit that I have never learned anything based on consciously analyzing the intervals ... I just zone out the world, focus, listen and have it come out on the guitar ..

Over time I've just come to know what is what based on repetition

Sorry if I'm not being much help

I bet Gedd and Alex did just about the same as you.....

  5. Rock and roll is all about energy - it's a force unlike anything else

And we've got the band, and we've got the fans - and the interaction between the two is as important as the initial creation ..

So at this point, why would any fan hope and hold their breath waiting for Neil Peart to change his mind ??

    f**k him

Geddy and Alex love the band, they love each other and they love bringing the music to the fans

I have no interest in seeing or hearing any musician who has to be coerced or convinced to play

Get some enthusiastic kid back there and make it enjoyable again

love the fact of Gedd collaborating on a Bass Guitar History book etc...but I do LOVE much much more seeing him onstage playing the bass as he did with Yes, my happiest day since the sadly remembered 8/2/2015.....too young to say good bye I think..... :geddy:
