  2. QUOTE (madra sneachta @ Oct 4 2004, 08:04 PM) Mmmm - Definitely a demonic look about him, so how about - By-Tor and the Snow Dog (or in Irish - By-Tor agus an Madra Sneachta!!) "Centurion of evil, devil's prince". sorry. Let me just say that its none of the obvious answers. You really have to know exactly where the picture is from.
  3. QUOTE (madra sneachta @ Oct 4 2004, 11:14 AM) To be honest, I thought it was Ming the Merciless, but can't find any Flash Gordon references!!! Peaceable Kingdom - "The Hermit against The Lovers Or the Devil against the Fool" and
  4. QUOTE (Moonraker @ Oct 3 2004, 06:45 PM) Totem? "Angels and demons dancing in my head" I expected this one to be first.
  5. I've had to go with Countdown for sheer nostalgia - I remember waiting for the Colombia launch while at school and the sense of excitement that filled the whole palce. Signals, I've got to say, is my least favourite album. Nothing to do with the songs which, except for Chemistry, are fantastic but because the production is muddier than a cup of McDonalds coffee.
  6. I've got to disagree with Cygnus about Red Tide. I think its an awesome song and has long been one of my favourite Rush tracks period. I love the change of mood and tempo and think it features some of Neil's most provocative lyrics.

  12. QUOTE (Moonraker @ Sep 30 2004, 01:54 PM) QUOTE (Slaine mac Roth @ Sep 30 2004, 10:51 AM) The lyric is the opening lines of the song and refers to the reality of the situation, not what the indivduals are supposed to feel (according to their superiors). Working Man "I get up at 7 yeah, and I go to work at 9" Clever but (I think someone who actully worked there would get it quickly - my wife did and she's not that much of a Rush fan)
