  1. The hidden gem of the 80's! My favorite songs:

    Show Don't Tell

    Chain Lightning

    The Pass

    War Paint

    Scars

    Anagram

    Red Tide

    Hand Over Fist

    Available Light

The majority of the album :)

  2. Out of all of their live releases since comeback what do you guys think has the best production? This doesnt necessarily mean best concert just best overall production for the release in terms of audio mixing and video quality.

I will go with Time Machine. It isn't my favourite set but the production and everything on blu ray looked great. CA as every has said is horrendous I don't know what the hell happened there. I haven't seen Snakes on blu ray only on DVD but apparently its really good.

Time Machine DVD was planned for a while. Clockwork Angels Tour was kind of lately planned and rushed for production so that's the main reason why the production value sucks.

  3. I hope it has better production quality than the last two live recordings.

What's wrong with the Time Machine film? I think it's one of their best.

I do agree that Clockwork Angels could be better though.

The film is great and the bass and guitar are good but the drums sound so dulled down compared to S&A Live.

  4. Lee plays the guitar on Rivendell, apparently wrote the intro to Closer to the Heart, plays rhythm guitar on Bangkok and Xanadu, plays acoustic with Lifeson on Resist, and plays some of the guitar on his solo record - and that's only the stuff we know about. Also, didn't he switch to bass originally because they needed a bass player?

Also wrote The Wreckers for guitar and Alex wrote the bass line.

  5. I love how they ended the concert. Whoever it is that thinks of these things should be commended.

It was a very poignant touch, after Geddy says bye and thanks for 40 blah blah blah, to add footage from every tour of him saying the same thing, and then they have "exit...stage left" and the three of them walking together in semi-darkness through the hallway to their dressing room.

Very dramatic. Very telling really for those who wish to see.

Well after the video is over it shows R40 again except it has a + next to it. R40+. I think there's gonna be another album.
