Second one is Territories
-
First one was Cygnus X-1 Book Two: Hemispheres
-
I just made one! lol
-
"Bonjour Montreal!"
-
Anyone know of recordings of the shows in Toronto?
-
The Anarchist-it's electric at the start of the show!
Jacob's Ladder-magical
Cygnus X-1/Hemispheres-epic progginess
Bonus:Losing It-amazing, hope they play it again
-
I also hope they used higher end cameras this time. TM was 1080p 30FPS but CA was 1080i 60 FPS. I prefer full HD over frames per second.

I would say Tampa or Toronto night 2

Maybe Ray Danniels is reading this and will pass the word on to them. ;)
Hiya, Ray! :hi:
Has the band ever admitted to going onto TRF before?
-
Or maybe they can pull six TRF members names out of a hat.
There ya go :)
I wonder how long it would take to see the light of day? :laughing guy:
Rush would be planning their R50 tour and we would still be arguing over the production of the R40 dvd.
A bonus for R50 VIP package: the R40 Blu Ray!

well this place died quickly
Too many people dining on honeydew and drinking the milk of paradise!

Good night everyone! I'm glad I was here to able at least to semi-witness such a moment in Rush history.
The Mad Norwegian should be coming through the door any minute now. :laughing guy:

:hi:
Have a good night!

Is everything going splendid so far, or is everyone just afraid to say anything?
Everything great except Neil messing up the drums in the intro for The Anarchist

Lol there's a Geddy impersonator in the front row, watching a pre show feed

They're gonna nail it tonight for sure :)

Red Lenses...ugh!!!!! What were they thinking?

And these nitpicky comments from "fans", who mostly hear the concert through a freaking cellphone.
Yeah, let's blame Geddy's bass malfunction in Headlong, Alex's wrong opening chord in DEW, Dirk's keyboard flub to open Subdivisions, and the cringe inducing guitar solo on Barchetta on sound quality.
You can call me "nitpicky", but I prefer discriminating listener. Helps me avoid being labelled a total fanboi. ;)
The thing is we are used to their perfection. We are not accustomed to Rush making mistakes. We're not complaining - its more concern than anything else - like what the heck is going on and what is wrong? I
Here's to Friday! :dweez: :dweez: :dweez:
I'm certain that being there is better than watching via periscope feed or a bootleg video after the fact.
I'm surprised by flubs because this is a show that is being filmed for a DVD. I don't want them to have overdub. As Yoda would "Overdubbing leads to Exit Stage Left and Exit stage left leads to the Darkside" of audio recordings in my opinion" :fury:
Geddy mentioned a couple of years back he is wound tighter when they are filming (I think he said something like "more pucker factor") so I am not surprised at all there were more flubs.
That's true, I remember him saying that it can make you play better but makes you more nervous.
-
I'll bet you that Friday's show will be much better considering how much of perfectionists they are. They're probably REALLY pissed about their performance tonight, so I'm betting they'll make sure to be on fire on Friday. Shake it off guys, everyone has bad shows :)

Has the second set been better than the train wreck of the first set? I haven't checked in.
For the most part. Except Red Barchetta which was terrible.
What happened there?
