  1. I wonder if there will be as many people on this thread tonight as we had for Tulsa.

I think not but I am not sure why. Could be wrong of course... :codger:

There won't be, because we know the setlist now. The surprise factor isn't there, which matters for a lot of people I would think

Plus it's the dead of summer and a Saturday night. You would think the folks have stuff to do...

I think we should make it as important as opening night because it might be the last time ever. :rush: :rush: :rush:

  2. Does this mean that after today we are free to discuss the tour throughout the entire forum without having to watch our p's and q's?

Yes we can be free! :D

But what about the second leg!?!?!

I think at this point we would've heard about it! I suppose it could be announced after the DVD comes out, but I'm thinking this is it for this tour.

Did you guys have to keep quiet after the 2012 tour? That would be kinda dumb.

  3. It would be wrong of me to feel cheated, but I saw the A setlist and B setlist of the CA Tour, and still missed out of Manhattan Project and Middletown Dreams.

But one of those was for the DVD filming, and they randomly played Dreamline in place of MP, but I got to see the only show they ever played 10 songs form an album. (I love the album, so I greatly enjoyed it).

And they pretty much gave up on Middletown in the last part of the tour, so I got a Limelight show.

    Middletown was a vocal struggle.

  4. Leave Presto till last and then you'll understand why it's one of the least liked albums.

    Presto is fantastic. 'Nuff said.

Definition of Fantastic.... 6 good to really good songs ;) Problem is there are 11

Anything they put out is fantastic IMO even though some albums have flaws. I still like it all! :)

  5. Just hope as I have said before that the performance DVD comes out spot on this time... :sigh:

    +1

Take some time on this DVD/Blu Ray. If this will be the last of the big productions available to us then do it right. My requests would be audio production (please have some separation/depth in the audio) and camera cuts (less is more). As a bonus some isolation camera views would be cool and any of the soundchecks as extras...

You shouldn't worry too much about audio, David Bottril is mixing it. He's the guy who remixed VT.

  6. It seemed as if he was struggling in San Jose but I'm completely blown away by how he sounded in the past two shows. He sounds stronger than the start of the tour and he's hitting the notes amazingly. I wonder if he made an adjustment that really worked for him.

  7. A great show, I had the chance to sit next to Xanadu, we saw Red Barchetta, and it was awesome.

Also the only concert I have ever been to walking toward the arena, and the air is filled with the smell of cheap booze and Coppertone.

The MGM pool closed at 6, and the masses had to walk opposite direction Rush fans were headed.

Alex played awesome, only 1 mistake.....show keeps getting better and better...

I'm sure Geddy makes mistakes too, but we usually can't hear them.
