  1. The tour was released yesterday, and obviously i'm buzzing. However, as a citizen of Ireland, I'm gravely disappointed that this tour is only a North American one, and so I won't get to see the guys this time.

Then i began to think further. Have they done their last "big" tour in the Time Machine Tour?

Will I ever see Rush perform again?

I'm not sure, but I hope they will play Europe in the autumn 2015, maybe September or October. I live in Sweden so I'd like to see them go to Europe as well. Let's hope there will be a European leg on this tour!

  2. I hope they do a European tour also. It's funny, all this speculating and then all of a sudden the news is here.

I hope they tour Europe as well and to be honest I'm pretty sure they will since I can't see them going out on their 40th anniversary tour and touring North America exclusively

  3. Thanks for the thread Earl!!!

From memory, 1987 hands down for me. But if I listened to the albums today I may have a different opinion.

And hey, correct me if I´m wrong, but Ian Paice didn´t quit Deep Purple to join Whitesnake...DP broke up after Come Taste the Band, and John Lord and Paice decided to join Coverdale´s band after a while.

Yes, Deep Purple broke up after Come taste the band. The first Whitesnake album to feature Jon Lord and Ian Paice was Lovehunter (1979)

    Wasn't Lord on Trouble?

That's right! Jon Lord played on the "Trouble" album and then Ian Paice joined the band for the "Lovehunter" album
