  1. ATWAS for sure. I think its the best representation of the band. Also was the first album i ever purchased way back when. Put me on a desert Island with only one piece of music and that would be the one i would choose. I've heard it a million times and could hear it a million more. I never get tired of it.
  2. Lessons. Don't know why but it might be my favorite RUSH song ever. Weird huh?
  3. BB&B. I think In The End is my favorite live on ATWAS but not the studio version.
  4. I think the last one on your list. It was so much more special to see them for the first time back in 79" with almost nothing to reference. Maybe one spot on Don Kirshners rock concert and a couple pics and a few uncomplimentary words in Creem magazine. Pretty much all i had was ATWAS to prepare me and they did not disappoint for sure.
  5. Agreed. ATWAS was the first album purchase of my young life back in 76'. To this day it is still my favorite by them or anyone else. In my view this is RUSH at their best. I miss Ged's young voice that annoyed so many and raw, loud guitar, bass and drums. Even In The End and Lakeside Park rock on that record.
  6. Just caught it on look back. Always cool when a little RUSH reference pops up somewhere.

    rush on the five

It just surprised me to hear Fly By Night. It seems to always be Tom Sawyer that you hear most of the time. Just glad after being a huge fan for over 35 years to hear them at all on any commercial or media outlet. Tom Sawyer is their most well known work i guess, but its not nearly their best.

    rush on the five

just heard a little fly by night coming out of commercial on "the five". just about fell off the sofa. not sure if the v dub commercial was more surprising or this one. either way its always good to hear them wherever it is.
