I guessed most of you would have seen that one by now but you never know ;)
The Philly ones are great. Thanks! Because I was standing close to the stage during my R40 shows I missed a lot of the effects of the lasershow. Of course I saw it happen from my POV but it's best viewed from across the floor.

The tshirt is the R40 tour shirt that has the starman all over design. Maybe CA in Toronto was a meh performance or some technical issue happened? The rest of the songs that are bonuses only on the CD probably weren't filmed. I'm still hoping there will be other bonus material of some sort, but it's unpossible to know unless someone comes out and says for sure.
Something did go wrong with 'the other Geddy' in CA during the first night. During the part where he sang "Synchronized and graceful, they move like living things" the backup tape and his voice weren't synchronized for a couple of seconds. The fimcrew was at work behind Neil on stage during CA the first evening. So I was surprised to see that it's not on the DVD.

I really hope they just have a far shot of the laser lights during some songs, because it's so cool to see that and they always cut it out of most of the other DVDs
Yes, especially during Jacob's Ladder.
Have you seen this clip?

Oh don't have camera eye, losing it, clockwork angels on video...
Hmmm, hopefully it's an error on the Amazon site. Looks like they've forgotten to copy and paste the last three from disc 3 into the disc 4 tracklist.
4. One Little Victory
5. Distant Early Warning
6. Red Barchetta
7. Clockwork Angels
8. The Wreckers
9. The Camera Eye
27. One Little Victory
28. Distant Early Warning
29. Red Barchetta

I know, I'm a big fan of Camera Eye as well. Maybe there'll be another version of the video that has it. We can hope anyway. Another thing I don't like is it looks like they put the alternate songs from Toronto at the very end (probably as bonus features). I know they weren't all played in the same night, but why not edit them in anyway into where they'd go chronologically?Looks like only audio of "Camera Eye" and "Wreckers".
Oh no :( I was sooo hoping to see TCE once again. Now I'm extra happy I've managed to capture some of it and The Wreckers as well myself.
Yep, that's what I thought as well while reading the tracklist.

Someone beat me by posting the link to the trailer just before I did :)

After reading the latest FOH post I'm really glad that I've travelled all the way to the US and Canada to catch this tour... It did cost me quite a bit but as it turns out having been able to say goodbye to them in their hometown now seems to be the best decision I've made in 2015 :)

I keep playing the Dallas R40 recording I have and remembering the best parts! :D
Me too! It was the first of my four R40 shows and it's almost on constant repeat on my iPod

The last 15 years have been a bit of a bonus, if you look at it one way.
He has essentially held Geddy and Alex hostage for the last 15 years. And the word "selfish" (and the like) came from several people on the inside, not me. The fact is yes, they're old and deserve to retire. So, why not do it the right way? Rather than dictate that their last tour be no more than 34 shows and nothing overseas, wouldn't it have been better for the band as a whole, for Neil to have allowed them to actually announce that it was the last tour, do a few more North America shows, AND let their overseas fans have a chance to see them one last time? THAT's what everyone in the organization wanted... except the Emperor. And he got his way. Doesn't that seem a little, prima donna-ish? IMO, given the way they were forced to let it play out, Geddy & Alex's frustration & animosity is justified.
Just heard Geddy tell in a Teamrock Radio interview this evening (http://prog.teamrock...io-show-tonight) that:
- He really wanted to come over the UK and other countries where they have fans with the tour but that it's politically not possible right now.
- Ending the R40 tour was very difficult & hard for him. He was feeling low for several weeks after the tour.
- They basically have no future plans.
He sounded sad to my ears during this part of the interview...

Looks like they used footage from both nights*... I like the way it looks. I like the 'human aspect' of some of the camera angles - for example during the guitar solo the camera man is obviously walking fowards. Makes it feel more like a recording of a live show rather than a show recorded with a live audience - if you catch my drift.
*During the first rap Lerxst is dancing away at his pedal-board - immediately in the next shot he is about 7 paces to his right near the edge of the stage.
Very well spotted :)
Seems like both nights are indeed mixed into one. The Finnish flag that's waving in the middle section in the front was there on the first night. I did notice that flag a couple of months ago in a 2112 clip from the first show.
Love the way they've ediited this clip :) I was already looking forward to the DVD because I was there on Wednesday. But after seeing this clip I can hardly wait to see the rest in November :cheerleader:

It's nice to see how much love Rush gets amongst other musicians. It's also nice to see that the guitarist in this video struggled with the solo in a few spots. Alex wasn't no slouch.
To be fair to Chris Shifflet, they probably only decided to do TS at the last minute and had a couple of quick run throughs at soundcheck so all in all he did a pretty decent job.......and Alex was anything but a slouch.
TS is a regular song on their setlist.

I have to say, you did a great job with this. But, it still amazes me that in today's Internet world, people don't get in trouble doing this type of thing. Not that long ago, one would be in plenty of legal trouble for making their own DVD or audio recording of a live band's performance.
It seems with the Internet, all rules have gone to the outhouse...
This is not an attack on the OP, but an observation. I'd hire her in a second to edit video for footage for me.
Thanks for the compliments :)
It surprises me as well that it's possible to put recordings like this on YT. Sometimes YT blocks some of my content because of copyright issues and that's fine by me. Like TexMike has stated I'm not in it for the money, I just like to share my memories with other fans :)

Yes, someone else calls it "post concert depression "! I knew I wasn't the only one using that phrase. I sure do miss Periscope too. That was so fun! Yes it would be fun to scope that, so we could all get together again. Scopes don't have to be live to be fun. I scoped one of the Blu-rays in the box set not too long ago. Got to say hi to a few friends.
I watched your video (4 from the floor) at lunch break today. It made me happy. The quality is excellent.
Thanks
Glad you enjoyed it :)
