    There was such dire Music in the 80`s

    U2 were a band that still played their own instruments and were great live

    So I will always have a soft spot for them

    Don`t agree with that they hav`nt done a good album since the Joshua Tree

    Achtung Baby was a breath of fresh air after the end of one of the worst decades in Music :finbar:

    It has been a busy few weeks , so I guess it is going to slow delivery down

     

    Just before x mas I ordered an album on Saturday afternoon , it came Sunday morning :cool:

    What album was it??

     

    The Narcissist - Dean Blunt . Vinyl

    As you may gather , its not a album you can pick up in your local naff HMV shop

    So you got to tip your hat to the Devil

     

    You , as like me are getting on a bit and the world has moved very quick into the big WWW world

    If you are disabled and unable to travel 10 miles just to get a record shop , that has very little choices and most of the time they tell you to

    Look on line

    It really is a blessing

     

    I`m not disabled and the album was`nt for me by the way :eyeroll:

    Yeh , sorry Treeduck , the second bit was meant for Tick

     

    You should`nt have much trouble with delivery as us Manc`s have one on our doorstep ( Near the airport lad )

    When you ever fancy a pint in the Salisbury , give us a shout .

    Be nice to meet a felllow Manc Rush fan . :D

    Great list. Though, I found Anathema's latest to be pretty disappointing aside from a few songs.

    Interesting that I saw 5 out of those artists live this year !

     

    I agree with you with the Anathema album, it`s no way there best

    I do listen to a lot of new albums , but it really was a struggle to find 10

    Next year I must listen to even more albums :)
