  1. Hey ILSnowdog, did you know there´s a drum fill now known as "The Brann Dailor fill"?

    :haz:

    That's awesome!

My #6 drummer is Tomas Haake from Meshuggah. Again, I can't post youtube stuff from work. But, the man is pretty much superhuman.

Crazy pants stuff right here. It's basically 4/4, but drums and guitar lines are either syncopated or polyrhythms. So check it out.

I can't stand the lead singer but man I love the drummer!!! FUKK! SHOOT ME IN THE HEAD!!

Not sure how humans can love that vocal growl shite.

I can only handle Opeth and THANK GOD Mikel doesn't do that shite anymore.

Seeing Opeth and The Sword on Saturday!!!!!!

I know. Meshuggah isn't for everyone. Regardless, Haake is AMAZING!

I expect texts from the Opeth show!

    3. Brann Dailor

    4. Danny Carey

    5. Marco Minnemann

Hey Sully! Long time no type or talk.

Hope all is well! Miss you.

    I am fine.

    Who is Brann Dailor?

I could look it up but I will wait for you.

    Hey, Earl! :hi:

    Everything here is peachy!

Brann Dailor is the drummer for Mastodon. I would post some youtube links for you, but I can't from work. He's an insanely good drummer. But, in concert he is absolutely mind-blowing.

  4. THANK YOU, CLEVELAND!!!! :notworthy:

Joey Fat Lip can suck it! (sorry Geddy.)

I will from here on out have a special place in my heart for the Indians. Happy to see one of my favorite players ever, Mike Napoli, have another go at a World Series pennant. He really deserves to win one.

Now, let's get this done, Cubbies!!!! :cheerleader:

Actually, Napoli won a Series with the Red Sox a few years ago. But yeah, he could use another one.

He sure did, didn't he?

I wonder how many different teams he can get WS rings with? :P

  6. More proof that Jose Bautista is a weenie: He's implying that the ALCS is rigged. Maybe he's been listening to too many Donald Trump speeches.

"All you gotta do is look at video and count how many times [indians pitchers have] thrown pitches over the heart of the plate,” Bautista said according to USA Today’s Mike Vorkunov. “It hasn’t been many. They’ve been able to do that because of the circumstances—that I’m not trying to talk about because I can’t. That’s for you guys to do but you guys don’t really want to talk about that either.”

    Dude, seriously. :eyeroll:

...Because they're good at hitting the corners of the strike zone and not leaving hitable pitches out over the heart of the plate? Maybe?

    He's such a weenie.

And that's why I smile every time I see him getting his clock cleaned. Thank you Sully.

  9. What is happening with Hamels? This is really, really bad! :(

Holy cow. Sorry to see what happened. In more ways than one.

    Yours,

    Bitter Phillies Phan

Thanks, Lerxt. That definitely could have gone better. The only positive the Rangers can take away from that debacle is at least it wasn't a wild card game.

  10. Food for thought:

Rangers finish best record in AL. That got them back to back WEEKDAY afternoon games 330PM game today and noon tomorrow. Yet called Home Field advantage. Jays get night games at home BOTH nights for being Wild Card winner..hmm

    Interesting

It might be to Texas' advantage, though. The Rangers are conditioned to play in 90 degree plus temps, and it's 90 degrees here right now. With the humidity factored in, it feels like 94. We'll see how Toronto's endurance holds out in the heat and humidity.

Jays look pretty hot right now. Dammit.

It's not looking good for Hamels.
