You may.
He is the guy that ran MitA, or Music in the Abstract. Not sure if he had any connection to the band other than that.
If I may... MitA is only one of the best sound tech guys ever! He can pull Geddy's vocals out of the most horrible live recordings, tweak it and make it sound like Ged is standing in your living room singing Xanadu just for you and your confused mom and grandma.

For me it is Colmans English Mustard... A bit of kick to it... Not like some of the wishy washy US stuff.
I like Colman's too. But, mustards like Colmans are a completely different thing from American mustard like French's. Yellow, or "American", mustard is more super tangy and vinegary (and way too yellow) and pretty much meant to be mainly a condiment for stuff like hamburgers, hot dogs, sandwiches and stuff. I'd use Colmans in a recipe. I would NOT use French's yellow in a recipe.

I still can't figure out how Daniels lasted as long as he did. He kept trading always good players who made the team better and wanted to play there.
I'm so glad he's gone. He treated some of our best acquisitions like pawns. I finally have some hope for them.

I was so sad to hear about her passing. Songbird is one of my favorite Fleetwood Mac songs. Her voice was so pure and beautiful.

What made my day today is that I'm posting on TRF for the first time in a long time. I've missed this place. It looks a lot different, but I know it's the same at the same time.
I still see some of the OG's like me and that's so cool.

This such sad news. ORF was a genuinely kind and thoughtful person. Rest in Peace, sir.

In North Texas right now, it's 103 F and feels like 106. It won't get below 100 until around 9 p.m. Gotta "love" August in Texas.

I have pangs, every once in a while still, where I can't believe Neil is gone. And, my heart sinks.

I was telling GG earlier today - it is weird to think that I am 48 now which means TRF has been around for 1/3 of my life. Kind of like the meme out there stating that 2050 is actually closer then 1990 now - weird to think about.
It's an amazing thing! I hope you had a wonderful birthday, RR. Here's to you:

Also, here is a photo posted in tribute by Neil's riding partner, friend, and security detail Michael Mosbach.
I love that photo - so poignant now. Is this before SARS?
I'll try to look and find out.
Cygnus-x1.net has it posted as a backstage photo from the R40 concert in Dallas, TX in May 2015. It's sooo Neil- observing others while not being seen himself . . .
I was at that show with my kids!!!!

The old days of TRF. Sheesh! It sounds like some legendary time in the days of yore. :DSo, I haven't been here in quite awhile, but on this sad day, I couldn't think of a place I'd rather be than TRF. This was my first online home filled with fellow Rush fans. Me and my wife, CeeJ, made so many lifelong friends due to this place. REAL LIFE friends as well as online friends who've we stayed in touch through different mediums since meeting here, sharing our love for the greatest band of all time.
So after an all night binge of listening to Rush, still going on btw, and mourning this great loss, I decided to check in here and share in the grief, as well as share in the past interactions we had with all you wonderful folks. It's been very therapeutic in only a brief time. We've been smiling and laughing at some of the craziness we were a part of over the years. What a crazy place this could be. After being a Rush fan since I was in sixth grade, I always felt alone, or in a very small minority of music fans that "got it". Finding this place finally made me realize i wasn't alone in it all. The great people here got me through a lot of bad times in my life, and ultimately that is all due to Rush being the band they are, and the people who respond to their greatness.
We share in this tragedy and loss today, but we are so grateful for the music and the lyrics that Neil conveyed to us that brought us all together. No matter what anyone on here disagrees on, we're ALL united in our common love for the incredible gift of music they've given us. So let's try to rejoice a bit in that.
My condolences to all my fellow Rush "geeks" during this terrible time. I love ya's all. <3
I think about you and CeeJ a lot! I miss you guys. I miss the old days of TRF. It was so amazing and fun.
A few of us had nothing better to do and never left :P
Cool to see many of you old schoolers roaming the halls
I never left. I like it here. They have cheese. Free cheese.
Good gouda
Sweet Swiss
Yummy Jarlsberg
Choosy Cheddar
We really need to start a cheese company,

Congratulations on 8 years on The Rush Forum. And, a few years of us debating if you are actually Alex.
Either way, yay! We are all glad you are here.

Sully, what happened to your welcoming committee?
Did you retire?
Holy crap. LOL!
We did retire it, yes. It was fun, but so many people were joining that it became too hard to keep up.
Love you for digging it up, though. So much history here.

Don't know if I can do that just yet but I have not read Far and Wide: Bring that Horizon to Me. Since that is his last one, it would be fitting I suppose.
I'd be on board with that.

This band has been such an integral part of my life since the age of 13, it's like I've just lost a family member. I'm just wandering around my house and then sitting down again, feeling pretty lost. This really hurts.
I know.
Me too.
I LOVE YOU
Love you too, sis. I'm so grateful for TRF more than ever. Without it, I would feel so alone in my sadness right now.
