Methinks it's a version of the shirt he throws out before the encore. The back says "Hey man! Geddy Lee wants to you check this dude out.. cool or whaaaaaaat?" And no that wasnt a typo - the shirt says "to you" not "you to" - not sure if that is some reference I don't get. I caught the shirt in Finland - Good times. 8 Shows on the tour including Denver and KC. Thanks to the Angel handing out Halos at intermission in the first 10 rows... I wore it proudly for the rest of the show and back at the Flying Saucer... Be safe everyone.. TNG

Great show in Denver, great energy and great seats. The A4 variation is my favorite with Limelight and Seven Cities. It was my 7th show on the tour and biggest crowd so far, must have been 19k peeps in the house. Anyway. So, our flight to KC was delayed for two hours by (I shit you not) a sandstorm, lightening, and a tornado warning. We get to the Crowne Plaza and the hotel is packed with Teens and Tweens. Care to guess who played at the Sprint Center Aug 2 & 3? Taylor Swift. I'm not hating or being judgey, in fact there are a couple of her things that I like. You have to appreciate the irony though of being stuck at Jack Stacks, in town to see RUSH - and not being able to get a cab back to the hotel because the Taylor Swift concert just let out. Hola, This was my first show in Europe and fifth on the tour. Perhaps I'll make a longer post later on, if anyone is interested, but the crowd was much different in Helsinki. With the exception of the floor, which was GA - everyone sat for the entire concert. Different culture, perhaps someone could point me to an article explaining this to me? When the guitar intro for Limelight started at the 5 spot my friend and I were psyched,as they played it at their previous gig in Sweden. Me and this other dude got up and moved over to the right (where there were some empty seats so we wouldn't block the view of those behind us) and security told us to sit down. First row section 107 and forced to sit and crane my neck over the GA peeps on the floor. Still a great show, Spirit of Radio was particularly good and I think The Wreckers is passing The Garden as my favorite. Weirdest song to sit down for was YYZ. Imagine sitting for the entire show? It was different. I'm a bit tired now, I'm going to bed in VA after waking up in Finland 23 hours ago. Remind me to tell you how they keep the GA crowd in line on the floor - never happen in the US. I'll leave you with three parting thoughts..... 1) thank you Finland for being a gracious host. I will definitely visit your fabulous country again. 2) you can not imagine how beautiful the women are. It's like the whole country is populated by tall blond models. 3) I caught a shirt that Geddy threw. It was over my head but I got a hand on it. It fell to the floor and I won the scramble. It is too small to wear. My friend is a MUCH bigger fan than I am. I want to get the shirt framed with my ticket stubs from the 8 shows I will have seen after the tour ends in KC as a rememberance of my year of Rush. Part of me thinks I should give it to him. What say you?........

Hey Superconductor - great sig. I have a limited Fruity Oaty Bar print and the Visit Tranquil Miranda poster on the walls of my Command Center at home. Browncoats for Life!! On topic. I traveled from NoVA to see the Vegas show and had a great time. I was Lower level, fifth row - about center ice on Ged's side (this was only my second show, but after starting to watch all the DVD's I have learned that its Ged - hehe). All around us were fans. Next to us was a father and his 20 something son from Calgary and in front of us - a family with two kids that were under ten. I saw a lot of families at Jiffy Lube in Sept as well. I have tickets to three more shows, including Helsinki in June!! Anyway. Lots of great info here. Thanks for making this New Guy feel welcome. TNG
