  1. The song is perfect I agree. I was mainly referring to Chemistry in place of the divisions of the suburbs. Countdown may be the only song I'd actually want to see more than Losing It. Lit up with anticipation.
  2. Message received... No flow without the other Oh, but how Do we make contact With one another
  3. Since we're talking about these guys a favorite song, and one of the best "war" songs ever written.
  4. Because it's an awesome song. Great lyrics, violin is haunting and soulful, and it's totally F'n relevant for this tour, even if it should have been played last tour. Rush has better songs, is my point. :) If they wanna break out a deep cut once or twice on a tour, there are, IMO, better offerings. On Signals alone. :) We will agree to disagree on this one. I've been waiting for years to see this song live, and it's NEVER been played live before this tour.
  5. HAHAHA! Wait I have this movie on Blu-Ray. FAN BOYS? I still have one, not all the cassettes anymore, but the box haha.
  6. I take my wife everywhere but she finds her way home HAHAHA!! I prefer "FINDING MY WAY." "fly by night away from here" HAHAHA! God you guys are great! I fukking flew my wife and I to Toronto for the R30 Tour. It was a fukking blast. Partied at the Orbit Room with a hundred Rush Fans from around the world. Took her to a Bluejay game. Red Sox. Pedro Martinez lost. Saw Alien VS Predator. They served beer in the lobby. Took her to the CN Tower for dinner. Took her shopping. Took to pubs and partied. One of the greatest times I ever had in my life. You know what she told me about that trip two weeks ago? "The only think I remember about Toronto was walking around all night trying to find a place to eat dinner." WTF? Insane how people change. I never will RUSH ON MUTHA FUKKAS! I CAN'T WAIT TO BE FREE! Sadly gang you can't have "Something For Nothing."

  9. I take my wife everywhere but she finds her way home :LMAO:  If I could "like" this post a thousand times I would
  10. Hahaha! Thanks Goose buddy! Glad you get my sense of humor! I am not DRUNK! The last time I smoked a joint was at Whitesnake in 1990 with Steve Vai on guitar. You smoked a joint with Steve Vai? My hero!!!! Why were you smoking it using a guitar? HAHAHA! Oh shit man timing is everything! I just ripped your Guitar Hero! Don't get me wrong I love Vai but man he took guitar lessons from Joe Satriani. So Joe Cool must be better right? I like Vai's work with Zappa. Vai studied as a teen under Satriani but I would be willing to bet Vai is at least his equal with musical understanding. I will also say that although what Eddie's done is more iconic for fans, Vai's knowledge of the instrument and music theory probably is miles ahead of Eddie. I'm not saying this as a follower cause a lot of Vai's stuff goes over my head, and sometimes his stuff seems pretentious. Excellent post buddy! I get it. Yes, I would take Eddie over Vai, Satch and Lifeson. JMO It's a matter or substance and art, some guys are better players, but some have better art.

  13. Yeah I saw the CA Tour three times as well. I got "Limelight" twice and "Body Electric" once! UGH! "Middletown" would have made my year though. Oh well. Glad you saw "Losing It." I'm dying to see this song live. I have two chances. I know many Rush fans on here don't like the song but man to me it goes a lot deeper than just the song. It's the lyrical content that now actually relates to our boys still playing in their older bodies that are starting to break down with arthritis and tendonitis. The three of them are the characters in the song "Losing It." It's a fitting song to play considering this really could be the final curtain call. August 1st is going to be a very emotional night for me. Hopefully I am wrong but I think this end of the boys playing live together. Perhaps they might play three nights in Toronto as a Final Farewell. I will be there. If I could have taken the time I would be going to LA myself. Enjoy Losing It it will be worth the trip. At least I already have my ticket for AC/DC, Scorpions, and maybe, just maybe I can find a way to swing Motley Crue finally New Years Eve in LA. Some people might laugh but it's another memory from my teens.
  14. Hell yes my friend!! "HOLD YOUR FIRE!" THEN LET IT GO "INTO THE FIRE!" "HEAVEN'S ON FIRE!" RUSH RULES! Love, Dokken and KISS Did you see Dokken/Dio Last in Line tour Oakland?
  15. I will chime in to agree about the second set but not the first. I loved the first set too. CA frickin rocks and I'm glad they played three songs from it.

Yeah this tour they included the Fat Azz surcharge.
  17. I've always like the song but it was on another level last night. I was wondering if it was just me but it's nice to know others felt the same way. Is that a picture of yourself in your avatar? You look a lot like the guy that had a f***ed up room key (like all of us on the 8th floor) across the hall from me at the hotel. Did you stay at the De Anza last night in San Jose? U.S. Navy ball cap? No I drove home after the show and I have a lot less hair now lol. Understood. I was wearing my vodka goggles last night. (I blame that Unattractive Truth feller.) That being said, the resemblance is uncanny. According to my son I'm looking more like Billy Joel and I'm not taking that as a compliment. :codger:
