Friend and I bought 7th row floor centre seats off of scalper to see Rush at home , Maple Leaf Gardens, for the Counterparts tour. I think we paid 70 bucks each, which is a bargain for these times. Great T.O. band I Mother Earth opened the show and were fantastic. To top it all my buddy caught Neil's drumstick that he tossed. Good Times.

That is fantastic, Spirit is a huge upgrade over Working Man. Maybe all the negative comments here or some poor reaction to some of the set is working. Here's hoping the set will constantly change and be perfect by they time they come home to TO in October. Ideally a few of the filler songs off CA could be replaced by anything from before Vapour Trails.

(2) Rush don't owe you (or anyone else) a damn thing. Rush fans have purchased 40 million of their records, less than 200k have bought Clockwork. That's a minority. Very selfish setlist. I hate when bands play the majority of their latest album. Nobody wants to hear this many songs from CA. To make things worse I've always hated Force Ten and Big Money , and they have been played to death on so many tours since they have been released. I'm guessing this setlist will basically be identical throughout the whole tour.
