Personally I like the look of the cardboard cases compared to the jewel cases. I've broken too many jewel cases in the past. Im super clumsy with things like that so it works out better in the end for me haha.

I agree. I mean, i've been a fan since 01 and my "fandom" has never changed but yeah, id say this year the fans had a lot to be pleased about. Just with the tour, the induction, the goodies, Neil's drumming DVD and corresponding book for it, Clockwork Angels, CD and book. And the fact that they decided to on tour, instead of dropping/adding songs, they decided to switch them out. Thats definitely a treat right there.

 

If only they put Afterimage on tour, then id be REALLY happy lol

Yeah, its a crotale that he had between his hihat and his closed 12" tom. From what ive seen from the GuP concert, the intro of YYZ is played on the same crotale. Judging by memory, I do believe that the same pitched crotale in Hemispheres is used in YYZ as well.

I think it might be post ATWAS but pre AFTK. Because Neil has his Pang cymbal in that clip, which Neil got for AFTK but didnt have before then, not until 1977. However, the heads are throwing me off. They had a AFTK warm up tour, didnt they? That might be it.

 

The Pang cymbal for the non drummers is the cymbal that was the farthest back on his right.

Yeah, JL wasn't played during the MP tour, nor was Witch Hunt. It wasn't performed live until the GuP tour.

IIRC, they DID film for Different Stages but the quality of the video was shit so they scrapped it. Its a shame cause id love to see a full concert if T4E in pro quality.
