  1. Greedy Oak-found that one after I posted here the other night. I didn't look far enough in my search before posting. :smash:

J2112YYZ-that is a great thread! I was just reading a little on it. I clicked your link and it took me back to last year so I was reading from there. Found when Clive passed. Bummer of a day for sure.

  2. You know, they could all just jam without the costumes and makeup and eliminate the drama. Oddly enough they're the same songs in street clothes.

Bingo! I'm a KISS fan from a few years back and I would certainly enjoy seeing each of the living members, past and present, take a solo or a time at the mic. Many great (and not so great) players have played with them and I think it would be a class thing for G & P to get them all out for one more spin. Won't happen, but hey...

  3. Binging now. Nothing like some AD/DC through the big speakers for sure. A very nice hit of youth going on. :notworthy: Anyway, have any of you come across a forum like this one (therushforum) about AC/DC? I've found some but they're pay to view and not much traffic it looks like. I know there was a Usenet board at one time but I can't find that anymore.
  4. The Packers are a winning franchise and it showed yesterday. It's the reason why a team like Detroit, for all their talent ends up watching at playoff time. Rodgers always gives you a chance to win and I screamed bloody murder when my Niners didn't draft him.

The Packers' coaching staff and players have character. They've created a culture of self-sacrifice, accountability, and playing all 60 minutes of every game. The Lions didn't have that under Jim Schwartz and his staff. The Packers have a great quarterback in Rodgers, but he wouldn't be so great without the commitment of his teammates and coaches.

The Packers are a winning franchise? I think you meant whining. Guess what team is on the links like the Lions? LOL. Character, self sacrifice, accountability? Come on. Oh sure, they made it into the playoffs. Great. What did that get them? A loss. There wasn't anyone that didn't know that was going to happen. I was happy when that "lucky" field goal was kicked because it knocked the most arrogant fans in the NFL down another notch. Thanks Niners. The Pack gets to fall to the Kaepernick God again. It must be a beautiful feeling to know when you play GB, you're going to win.

  5. I probably missed it by how am I able to know when an update has been made to a thread? I think on the "old board" one of the arrows next to the thread would highlight (maybe?) and I could click on that and be taken to the newest entry. Now I click on the box with the circle in it and it might take me to the newest or it might take me to an older post. I poked around for an option but no luck.
  6. Food for thought. http://dbgeekshow.blogspot.com/2012/06/mon...s-response.html

As for me, I'm done. I've been a fan since the 70s and I've put up with the obvious disregard of the fans from these guys. It's all about money. I know the argument is that every band is for the money but this? I can see what they're doing. How far can we push "the fans". I don't have to support them anymore. I have the majority of the cds (and albums) but won't buy anymore. I won't purchase anything KISS related. I'd like to have taken my kids to see them in concert just for the over the top spectacle of it all but I won't spend another dime on them. I won't listen to the cds anymore. I know I've purchased them and they've stuck it to me on that but it's my own protest so f**k it. The complete lack of touch with the fans, who they say they're in it for, is a f***ing lie and I'm done with it. f**k KISS and f**k their lack of being in touch with their fans.

  7. Fly On The Wall spinning now. I haven't heard this one in years and now, through earphones, I like it. Classic? Probably not but it rocks pretty good. Had it on cassette when it came out and wasn't too impressed but it's not bad. Released in 1985. I can tell you what I was doing that year but not the one before. tongue.gif

I am enjoying the hell out of CA but to each their own. Glad we all have opinions for sure. martini_shaken.gif

  9. Still working my way through the catalog. I had a hard time making it through GUP. Definitely not my least favorite and couldn't make it through The Body Electric. Least favorite song too. For some reason I stalled out on VT too. I like that one but it took some time. No Feedback for me. On to S&A.
  10. Wading through the discography now. Trying to keep it chronological. It's kind of fun to go through it like that. Just went for a run to HYF and now have Presto on the big stereo. Good stuff believe it or not. wink.gif
