Greedy Oak-found that one after I posted here the other night. I didn't look far enough in my search before posting. J2112YYZ-that is a great thread! I was just reading a little on it. I clicked your link and it took me back to last year so I was reading from there. Found when Clive passed. Bummer of a day for sure.

Has anyone ever come across a forum like The Rush Forum except it'd be for Iron Maiden? I know the pay one is supposed to be good but I'm not going there. Thanks.

KISS not to play at RRHOF ceremony...
Yooper replied to laughedatbytime's topic in Music Of The Spheres
Bingo! I'm a KISS fan from a few years back and I would certainly enjoy seeing each of the living members, past and present, take a solo or a time at the mic. Many great (and not so great) players have played with them and I think it would be a class thing for G & P to get them all out for one more spin. Won't happen, but hey...- 42 replies

Binging now. Nothing like some AD/DC through the big speakers for sure. A very nice hit of youth going on. Anyway, have any of you come across a forum like this one (therushforum) about AC/DC? I've found some but they're pay to view and not much traffic it looks like. I know there was a Usenet board at one time but I can't find that anymore.

Has the Remix of VT lifted the Album's position past others.
Yooper replied to losingit2k's topic in Rush
I bought it when it was re-released and listened once then put it away. Just listened to it again while in the sauna, where I could give it a thorough listen and it sounds great. I'm giving it another spin right now. Very nice job Rush. I think this one will be in the rotation for ahwile. -
I was a fan for some time in the 80s and 90s then he turned far too political for my tastes. A shame too because I did enjoy what he released. I won't listen to a thing put out by him anymore.

CNN and gold standard for accuracy in journalism? :laughing guy:

Here's why they're my go to albums. Can I run on a treadmill and listen to them? Yes. Ever run and listen to 2112? Eternity is right there in your ears. I like to listen to rock and i guess that's why the songs on these three keep me going.

How do I know if a new post has been made in a discussion?
-
I probably missed it by how am I able to know when an update has been made to a thread? I think on the "old board" one of the arrows next to the thread would highlight (maybe?) and I could click on that and be taken to the newest entry. Now I click on the box with the circle in it and it might take me to the newest or it might take me to an older post. I poked around for an option but no luck.

Food for thought. http://dbgeekshow.blogspot.com/2012/06/mon...s-response.html As for me, I'm done. I've been a fan since the 70s and I've put up with the obvious disregard of the fans from these guys. It's all about money. I know the argument is that every band is for the money but this? I can see what they're doing. How far can we push "the fans". I don't have to support them anymore. I have the majority of the cds (and albums) but won't buy anymore. I won't purchase anything KISS related. I'd like to have taken my kids to see them in concert just for the over the top spectacle of it all but I won't spend another dime on them. I won't listen to the cds anymore. I know I've purchased them and they've stuck it to me on that but it's my own protest so f**k it. The complete lack of touch with the fans, who they say they're in it for, is a f***ing lie and I'm done with it. f**k KISS and f**k their lack of being in touch with their fans.

Fly On The Wall spinning now. I haven't heard this one in years and now, through earphones, I like it. Classic? Probably not but it rocks pretty good. Had it on cassette when it came out and wasn't too impressed but it's not bad. Released in 1985. I can tell you what I was doing that year but not the one before.

Like a forest bows to winter Beneath the deep white silence I am enjoying the hell out of CA but to each their own. Glad we all have opinions for sure.

AC/DC=good Saturday night beer drinking music. Bon or Brian. Either one. Turn it up and let it rip.

Is there any interest in posting links to sites that play music only by the band? Hard to explain but here's a few links to start. http://www.rushradio.org/ (#1 out of the gate for sure) http://acdc.radiodelsuronline.com/ http://strutterradio.com/ (KISS) http://www.vanhalenradio.com/vanhalenradio/

I like TFE! You know what this means? Rush appeals to us in different ways. What a band! Love em.

Worst Rush song on Rushs worst cd. I can't make it through the song without skipping it.

Still working my way through the catalog. I had a hard time making it through GUP. Definitely not my least favorite and couldn't make it through The Body Electric. Least favorite song too. For some reason I stalled out on VT too. I like that one but it took some time. No Feedback for me. On to S&A.

Wading through the discography now. Trying to keep it chronological. It's kind of fun to go through it like that. Just went for a run to HYF and now have Presto on the big stereo. Good stuff believe it or not.

Oh yeah. 26 degrees here. Wind chill is 19. Sauna was 150. Beer is still cold.

I'll admit I didn't read this whole thread and my answer is probably in there somewhere, but here goes. What is your favorite/most accurate weather site? I've been using Intellicast lately and it seems to have some good information on it.

Is it ok to link to them from here, as in starting from the beginning and all the way to now? Maybe a new thread with them? Just a thought.
