Agreed. After the "quietness" of Presto, CP is loud and rockin'. Cut to the Chase is just a fun song to listen to as is Animate.

I took all my capacity stats from each arenas wiki page.
BOK has a capacity for 13,644 for Endstage (ie concert). I think SH showed about 411 tickets available. That's around 3.01%.
-
Stubhub will give you a good idea of the overall number of tickets they have to sell for each show. With SH, you click on a section or area and see how many are available in that area or section.
Technically, since it is secondary, the tickets on SH have already been purchased.
-
I hope the Lincoln, NE show gets more tickets sold, I wanna show Rush how we Iowans/Nebraskans love our Rush :D
Not as much as Oklahomans do. Says the Yankee transplant from NYC.
;)
That's the spirit, JR! I wonder - hmm - are Oklahomans better Rush fans than Nebraskans? LOL!
-
Many ticketmaster venues have the map option where you can see the entire arena, and all blue dots are available seats from the venue and red dots are resale seats. For each venue ticket page that has this option you will see precisely how many seats are available for sale.
I noticed that for another artist, but my ticketmaster doesn't offer this option for the Rush shows.

No problem friend. Another way to look at it is I guess the brokers in the Northeast have you more by the b*lls. That means the 'fly overs' in the Midwest will see the same show cheaper than people in the Northeast. Works for me. I can probably afford 2 shows for one of yours.
I have relatives in the Northeast. Same size house as mine at twice the cost. You can have the Northeast all day and Sunday.
I hear ya. I grew up here, then went to northeast Ohio for college and stayed another 2 years in southeast Ohio (where my son was born). We moved back east 22 years ago. I miss Ohio every day. Wish we would have stayed.
And I was bored with the chatter on here of late. Probably a bit of a jet lag on my part since I've visited the site multiple times a day every day since January. So I wanted to spark a friendly debate and also on a serious note analyze why there is this statistical difference.
-
Just having fun. I love the midwest. Went to college in Ohio. My oldest was born in Ohio. Again, just having some fun...
-
Ok - I'm bored.
Being from the northeast, I wondered why are secondary market tickets so high compared to places in the midwest. At first I thought maybe it was because of the cost of living. After a brief, unscientific anaylsis, I discovered that we are just better Rush fans.
Here are 5 midwest shows:
SITE:...........................CAPACITY..............TICKETS AVAILABLE ON STUBHUB....PERCENTAGE IN MARKET
Lincoln NE....................14620....................................1081..............................................7.39%
St. Louis, MO................22000....................................1590..............................................7.23%
Austin, TX.....................14000....................................1107..............................................7.91%
Dallas, TX.....................21000....................................1390..............................................6.62%
Auburn Hills MI.............23000.....................................1971..............................................8.57%
TOTAL..........................94620...................................7139...............................................7.54%
Here are 5 northeast shows:
SITE:............................CAPACITY.............TICKETS AVAILABLE ON STUBHUB.....PERCENTAGE IN MARKET
Buffalo, NY...................18500.....................................456................................................2.46%
Boston, MA...................19600.....................................517...............................................2.64%
Philly, PA......................21000.....................................574................................................2.73%
Newark, NJ...................19500.....................................713...............................................3.66%
New York, NY...............20000.....................................953................................................4.77%
TOTAL.........................98600...................................3213................................................3.26%
As per the rules of supply and demand, the tickets in the midwest are less expensive because there are more of them available on the market - well - because they simply aren't as devoted and dedicated to the band as we are here in the northeast. At least if you're a mid-western, you can take solace that you are even more dedicated than the hometown crowd in Toronto whose stats runs 9.79% for the first show and a whopping 11.71% for the second.
And here I thought the conventional wisdom was that Rush is a mid-western band.....

'Tis the season for redundancy....

There were several forums posting instantaneously as each song was played. I believe even setlistfm was updating rather quickly.
I need to live vicariously through someone, gosh darn it

You just have to be obsessed with finding a good deal. I've been watching the market since day 1. I finally found on Craigslist 2 mezzanine side stage row 2 tickets for $100 a piece. The original buyer paid around $85-90 (I checked with TM). Now on SH, tickets in the same section and it's counterpart are averaging $185 per ticket.
Good deals can be found. I think you got one.
-
Currently on SH, there are two Section 4 Row V tickets for sale for $464 a piece. Subsequently, there are no row V available in section 4's counterpart, section 2. Directly behind section 4 is section 105. In this section, there are two Row B tickets for $383.
You can't compare prices in other venues. That's apples to oranges to bananas. Market Value is defined as an agreement between a willing buyer and willing seller. So far, it seems like you did okay.

There have been two setlist rumors to date;
(1) The Anarchist as alledgedly viewed on the programmers pc screen shot and
(2) A rumor that they are rehearsing a Hemispheres Prelude right into Far Cry transition.
Honestly, with only 3 weeks until opening night, that's pretty tight lipped.

Gab, I have been following the secondary market for Pru every day since the presale. The tickets today are the highest they have been since the sale started. In February - March, you could still find seats in the $70-$80 per ticket range. Now even the worst seat available is over $100. Those section 10 seats on TM have been there for a couple of weeks.
Here's the thing that puzzles me - section 110. Not once since the presale has a ticket for section 110 appeared on the secondary market. Again, I check this multiple times - every day. I have to believe that some point, TM will release these seats because it's unimaginable that every person who has a ticket in that section (assuming they are out in the market) is holding on to that seat. It's the only section that hasn't had a single ticket available.
-
What do you consider side stage? Sections 114 & 126 have been offered for a weeks now.
-
Well I hope someone does. I remember sitting on the PC for the first night of CA watching the setlist get posted song by song. It was fun!

Anyone else expecting a Bastille Day instrumental introduction into Headlong Flight?
Actually, I was thinking of it the other way around; Headlong Flight into an instrumental minute (or so) version of Bastille Day then back into the ending of HF.

I'll be at the second show of the tour. I've told myself I will not look at anything setlist related so it's a surprise for me on show night. Still a month away from the show, I, without hesitation, clicked on something that said 'spoiler alert.'
Boy, these next few weeks are going to be fun. :)
The above post was daymaker. Thank you.
