Please God, please let Lawrence Welk be the orchestra leader.

    LOL..... z7shysterical.gif

But personally I'm paying good $$$ to see Rush (Alex, Geddy & Neil), not some side stuff going on!! They can pre-record the string stuff and the guys can trigger the sound effects...

I hope they do play Red Sector A. It is my favorite from that album. It is my guitar instructor's favorite Rush song.

This may not be a popular opinion, given how scary that song is. But I would still like to hear it live.

Otherwise, I do not think they will particularly highlight GuP. I mean, it had not been quite 30 years when they played the entire MP in the Time Machine tour. They played it because it was their best selling album with their best known song.

Nice to see someone else loves this song too!

I use Hearos High Fidelity ear plugs for every concert.

They don't muffle the sound at all...everything is still very clear, just reduces the decibel level.

You can pick up a pair at Guitar Center for about $15.00.

    Here's the link..

Bought myself 4 pairs of these. It's my first & second shows with so I'll see loud it gets up close within 15 rows.

I agree this VIP lottery thing is annoying, but before you castigate Rush check out what other bands are selling through VIP Nation:

    https://v2.iloveallaccess.com/tours/eagles/...f65e412VwD3ZQtv

Those prices are truly insane.  The current Rush ticket prices by comparison are only kind of insane.

I bought a musictoday presale ticket for the San Antonio show, row 16 for $147.  That is expensive.  The VIP were $325, that is even more expensive, but at least they aren't $500 for first 20 rows like those Eagles tix I linked to above.

$500 for rows 1-20? Holy crap! Thats insane unless

you're a die-hard fan! (I like the Eagles, but not enough

to fork over that much $$! Of course, Rush is a different story!)

My VIP tix better score me at least by row 6 in a good section

where I can see the entire band, otherwise I'm gonna be upset!

Does make you wonder if the "older" bands with relatively short

tour life left are just laughing all the way to the bank at our expense!

As a younger female, I definitely get some looks when I show up in Rush gear and rock out at a show. But this Muslim dude from the Toledo show just does not look like he fit in laugh.gif. At least it appears he was enjoying the show!

FYI. . . if I'm not mistaken, Farid is a Sikh, not a Muslim. Big difference. Be careful about who you stereotype, please.

I thought I recognized Kelly on the TM Cleveland DVD!

I'm just a 40+ older version! Kelly, okay I'm jealous..

    Pics and stuff from Alex...OMG!

Yep, this 40-something? female is gonna definitely be in

The minority rockin' out, knowing most of the lyrics.

Hopefully, I'll luck out and be up close to see Alex's

(And everyone else's) reaction. He'll be amused for sure!

  8. I already purchased the chicago VIP package with a 12:08

Checkout & will Do the VIP route again for Indy on 5/7.

Annoying with uncertainty of the seat locations, but within

15 rows is fine by me! (First shows for this die-hard

Rush fan! Better late than never!) We'll see what happens vip seat-wise

for purchasing more tix for the next tour leg next year!
