I've burned my tongue...but throat? Sounds painful...
Was it soup?
No it was chicken and chips...
(English chips that is)
And yeah don't let it happen to you goose...
Would be one long burn!
Hot, oily chips in the throat...yikes!
I'm a bit better now Baby...
Yayyyy!
How's it now, Duck..?
It took a full week to get back to normal. Even up to the day before, the Sunday, I would get earache after eating a meal, even something like a chicken salad.
Now I'm back to full eating strength and the kitchen is my oyster again!
Yayyyyyyyyyt!!!
The worst was the first day, it felt like someone had a knife digging into my adam's apple and they kept it there 24/7...
Well, at least you're better now, Duck..! Hence all the and !
Aye...
Great to hear that you're much better, Ducky!!
That was a real nasty burn!!! Ouch!!!
Sorry for the late reply, Ducky. I'm trying to catch up....I need a vacation From my vacation..Geez, I'm exhausted!! Ugh!!
(I need Rosie the robot maid from the Jetsons....)

IMO, no singing by Geddy for the entire evening would interest only certain fans...For me however, they could play scales and I'd still be there....

With my 2010 BMW X5, I can just leave the fob in my purse and push the button. However, with our older 2003 model, you need to insert the key into the ignition. So on the odd occasion when I have to drive "hubby's car, I get in and I'm like "what the hell?"
(Not used to driving my old car anymore....so sad...)

QUOTE (substancewithoutstyle @ Aug 22 2012, 10:56 PM) QUOTE (2112design @ Aug 22 2012, 08:18 PM) hi all
i would like to propose Canada make a national monument to its greatest citizens, something like this
http://2112design.com/files/Mount_More_Rush.jpg
(yes, i know, i could have done the photoshoping better)
i'm not Canadian but maybe some of you that are could start lobbying your government for space on a mountain somewhere, then get volunteers to build it. crazy idea?Isn't that Louis Rukeyser with Neil and Geddy?
Yeah, it sorta looks like Louis doesn't it?
Not that I would want Lous to replace Alex with the rest of the guys.....

QUOTE (laughedatbytime @ Aug 16 2012, 05:38 PM) QUOTE (Lost In Xanadu @ Aug 16 2012, 11:36 AM) 50 games for PED... and he was the All Star MVP, which directly led to one team getting home field advantage. Should this be remedied? I just don't like the way this tastes right now. The remedy is to stop the idiotic practice of making the All Star game the determinant of homefield for the World Series.
Who made up this stupid rule anyway? IMO, the guys are supposed to play just for "fun", not to determine which team gets an advantage during the WS.

The Green Lantern on HBO while on vacation last week! Kinda out there like the Matrix series, but what a cliffhanger/surprise ending at the end in between the ending credits...did anyone see it?? Spoiler Alert.......
The wait for the follow-up sequel is going to kill me now......

Because someday mankind will use up the earth and will eventually need a second place to call home. If we learn all we can about Mars before that, it will make it much easier for us to establish it as an eventual second home. It will be many years before that happens and it won't happen in out lifetime. But it will be an awesome feat to one day have humans living on another planet.
Plus, it's space exploration and that rules
What about job exploration? Been unemployed lately?
Yes, I'm employed, but many friends are not!
What about being aware that our current behaviors are
destroying the very planet we live on? We can't continue
to use up all the resources without dire consequences!
Does anyone smell disaster?? Global warming happens
for a reason..we are responsible for it.
good point!
No! I'm not crazy or wacko as you suggest....SO Sorry!
Your posts here confirm otherwise.
Ugh!!! Again, I'm not nuts here!! Did you READ my post?? My main concern is for this planet and the collective ignorance that everyone has towards it. Believe it or not, the timebomb is ticking here folks!! It's time to wake up and smell the coffee (that's before we run out of both clean water to drink and air to breathe.) The focus should be right here at home on earth!! Hello???

All I can say is...That's amazing!!!

Most "every-Sunday" Christians that I know attend the round church if you know what I mean......

Relive my life?? Hell no, considering the horrible childhood I had with my abusive alcoholic father. I would want to hit the rewind button and start over and do some things much differently if given the opportunity....

Some books on social networking as my networking skills are lacking at the moment. I'm sure my CPA exam prep books don't count as exciting reading!!
