I heard or read it somewhere , that Geddy's grandmother,
who was from the "old country" (I believe Poland),
couldn't pronounce Gary, so...Gary became Geddy.

Are you saying Gary's grandmother is evil? unsure.gif

  2. I'd say allow it if there was a way to only be observers. Maybe make us temporarily mute or even invisible if possible.

I recommend Stephen King's new book "11/22/63" as a great time travel book which explores the consequences. In the foreward he says his personal favourite of this genre is Jack Finney's 1970 book "Time And Again" which I'm currently enjoying.

You know, just because you call a thread "pinned", it doesn't mean it's actually pinned.

    Why is that?? unsure.gif

Because we would literally be drowning in pinned threads by now. 👾

    Do you mean "figuratively"?

Either way, drowning in pinned thread sounds like a phrase Neil might use on the next album. unsure.gif

  4. Scrape away the more annoying Zep songs like D'yer Maker, Hot Dog and most of In Through The Out Door, I'd choose them.

But if you include everything by both bands, I'd go with Pink Floyd - especially with Syd Barrett.

  5. It took a long time for Bob Seger and Alice Cooper to get in there, I suspect Rush will make it soon. Same with other overlooked influential bands like the Moody Blues or Jethro Tull.

Who have believed a guy like Leonard Cohen would get in there ahead of other Canadians like the Guess Who or Rush? It's probably all about your connections, more clearly if your drug connection is the same as Jan Wenner's or Dave Marsh's.

  6. Working Man is great but not prog at all.

Schizoid Man is much better in every regard - lyrics, guitars, singing, drums, - plus it has a sax!

Schizoid is better than EVERY Rush song, dare I say it's the greatest prog rock tune every recorded? I bet even Geddy, Alex, and Neil would agree.
