i just listened to the original version of Analog Kid. The guitar solo on the recording is good but there is something about the live version. The live verison is one louder and grittier, too.

i went to the DC show last night. it was incredible. the mid 80s music and the CA songs were brilliant.
but Moving Pictures is one of the greatest albums of the 20th century!

agreed. that was a fantastic touch. since they had mixed in a few new songs at that point, i started to think that Countdown was going to be coming up. but alas, the caravan kept rolling.

i grew up in a classical music home. my dad was an opera singer and i appreciate all forms of music.
but when i go to a Rush show, i want to see some rock and roll dammit not the philharmonic!

that's the funny thing about music -- everyone likes something different.
but i agree, Wreckers is the most skippable. good song. but still the most skippable on the cd.

it's an Americanized set list -- many of the classics American audiences like such as Run to the Hills, Wasted Years,Trooper etc.
I agree Afraid ... is out of place. and it's dissappointing Hallowed isn't in the set. but, i still think it's a really great setlist.
i love the Prisoner. Wasted Years is fabulous. The Evil that Men Do was a real highlight on the tour last year.
it wouldn't surprise me if they changed it up a bit for the Euro audiences next year.
oh, and i'm glad they're not playing Infinite Dreams. i don't care for that song. but, i allow that many of you do and for you, i understand your disappointment.

if that set list is accurate, the place is going to be ape shit from Fear of the Dark through Run to the Hills.
think i'd rather hear the Clairvoyant over Deja Vu in the encore.

I don't know how to define "best" but I enjoy listening to it more than most of the others. I agree with lots of folks her that La Villa and Limelight are also both great. I like the solo in the GRden just as much.
