This is for all the New World Women in the forum. Are you a Geddy Girl (like me? ), a Lerxst Lady or a Neil Nymph? I couldn't really think of a good word for a female that began with N, so I just went with the first one that came to mind. Please comment and share your thoughts. And I stand by that statement. These pics are of the promised "Real women listen to Rush" shirt. It is also part of my "costume" for Halloween this year. I'm a Rushian! Then again, I don't really need to dress up to convey that. I don't really dress up anymore on Halloween. The trick-or-treat tradition is something I've grown out of. But you're never too old to be a Rushian. My school had a costume contest on Friday. I didn't participate and was out of there before I could know of the result, but I would have won by default because Rush is the greatest band in this world. And we all know it. Yup, I went as a Rushian, complete with a hand-made shirt that said "Real women listen to Rush." No one but my teachers immediately picked up on it. They were the only people who I trusted to know about Rush. But they certainly approved of my "costume," even if my shirt had a naked person on it. It was the Starwoman, based on the Starman from 2112. It's also on the New World Women banner here at The Rush Forum. My classmates kept thinking that I was Ozzy or John Lennon, since my "Geddy shades" probably wouldn't make sense in the context of Rush if someone didn't know who both Rush and Geddy Lee are. Their loss. Funny thing is, Geddy gets mistaken for Ozzy all the time. So in a way, my "costume" was effective. I apologize, my Geddy, Alex and Neil-loving friends. We shall correct that mistake. We get a little carried away at moments. And technically, it was my fault that this turned into part of the "Geddy Lee is hot!" thread. That is my domain. This thread shall be restored to its original purpose: making fun of the greatest rock band in this world. And the three greatest guys in this world. But we poke fun at them because we love them.

Rush has long been considered a "guy's band," so knowing women appreciate and enjoy the music as well as find the band members attractive is in no doubt a wonderful notion. As Geddy said, "women are all welcome. Please come out!" Times sure have changed over the last thirty years, haven't they?
