  1. QUOTE (Babycat @ Nov 30 2010, 03:22 AM)QUOTE (NobodysHeroine @ Nov 19 2010, 09:29 PM) Don't you think it would be epic to see Geddy in a Loreal commercial? Seriously, look at this: http://i1031.photobucket.com/albums/y371/Priestess-of-Syrinx/Gorgeous%20Geddy/Geddy_London_1992.jpg That hair!!! How I want to touch it, run my fingers through it... The commercial would go something like: "Leereal, because he's worth it." You bet he is! It's a shame that Geddy is a man, since those commercials are meant for women. But if he were a woman, he'd be the most beautiful woman I have ever seen! I want his hair so badly. He has better hair than me, a sixteen-year-old girl. How does that work? When did you change your avatar?! Looks awesome BTW! Still, can't get enough of the luscious Ged... I changed my avatar just last night. It's one of my favorite pictures of the Gedster, among the countless pics I have. And thank you. Oh, I know exactly how that is, my friend. Especially this picture.
  2. QUOTE (thing2jordan @ Nov 28 2010, 09:30 PM)http://img375.imageshack.us/img375/3859/timemachine40.jpg How I long to crawl into his lap... For some reason I think of the song "Madrigal" now: When the dragons grow too mighty to slay with pen or sword, I grow weary of the battle and the storm I walk toward When all around is madness and there's no safe port in view, I long to turn my path homeward to stop a while with you That's exactly how I feel!

  4. QUOTE (FoxxiStarr @ Nov 28 2010, 02:10 PM)For you .... i stuck this on soft focus ... us Lerxst girls can enjoy looking at our boy's gorgeous back too http://i614.photobucket.com/albums/tt227/DeathGlamIndustries/Rush/Lerxst/geddyhicopy.jpg Ooooo, I like this. It's almost dream-like. Great idea, Foxxi. Two rock studs for the price of one. Methinks it's time for a sammich!

This tour is going to be huge! It was a hell lot of work, but it...Hello? *Geddy waves his hand in front of Neil's eyes* Neil (still staring): Hush, Dirk! I think I'm winning. *Geddy sighs and shakes his head*

  8. QUOTE (CMWriter @ Nov 26 2010, 07:28 PM)I have a terrible memory and can't recall if this photo comes from the inside of "Farewell to Kings" or "Hemispheres".. but it makes me laugh every time. xD All I can think about is this: http://i56.tinypic.com/xkomja.png That is from A Farewell to Kings, my friend. *A huge neon sign reading "DORK!" appears over Kahme's head* Awesome pic, by the way. No, Cygnus X-1! Don't kill Pratt, it's not good for business. Think of the children!!! I'm a dork too.
  9. QUOTE (HowItIs @ Nov 26 2010, 05:46 AM)http://i224.photobucket.com/albums/dd103/laserspray/Rush/counterpartsneil3.jpg Holy cow, wouldja look at the guns on that guy?! Whoa. I'm a devout Geddy girl and even I can't help but admire those guns. My dad once said that that's the sign of a drummer: strong, muscular arms. And Neil's the greatest drummer in existance, so of course he has exceptionally strong and muscular arms. I can see why all the Neil lovers are attracted to him.
  10. QUOTE (HowItIs @ Nov 22 2010, 06:56 PM)Just got some pictures today that I bought from a fellow in LA. who managed to buy a collection from a photographer. He had lots of pics of Music acts. Including a few of our guys. Alex and Geddy (looks to be on the Permanent Waves Tour) http://i224.photobucket.com/albums/dd103/laserspray/AlandGedPeW.jpg Leather pants alert!!! Nice ones, Ged Mmmmmm, leather... Geddy and leather. That's what I'm talkin' about. Whoa. Calm down, Kahme. You must control yourself. Suppress your dirty mind. But who can blame me?
  11. QUOTE (IChoseFreeWill @ Nov 21 2010, 03:02 PM)This is one gift Mother Nature did not give me. I do not PMS because I do not menstruate. I do not menstruate because I do not ovulate. I do not ovulate because I have PCOS. I have zero interest in having biological children, so this may be moot. I have been successfully diagnosed and treated. I am more concerned with preventing diabetes than with the infertility part. I am in a good mood every day of the month...as long as it is before 11PM or so. After that, I am just plain incoherent. My solar cycle works well- it's the lunar one that does not work at all. I still like being female. In a way, you are lucky not to deal with what Mother Nature gave women like myself. Good to know that I'm not the only woman in this world who doesn't want children. I am fertile and can actually have them, but I have no interest in it. At all. I could care less. And being bi, like yourself, I'm far more likely to seek out another woman as a partner. Another reason I won't have to worry about pregnancy and all that happy crap. Being a woman is an amazing and empowering thing, it really is. Just not when PMS and the whole deal hits. All other times, though, I am very proud of being female. So should all the other women and girls in this world.
  12. You know you're a Rush fan when you know exactly which song is playing after only hearing a few seconds of it. That happened to me back in July when my mum and I were on our weekly shopping trip. The new single "Caravan" suddenly was playing on the radio and I knew what it was instantly. I yelled out, "Turn it up! It's Rush!" My mum didn't believe me at first, since she had never heard the new Rush songs from their upcoming album. I then explained the Time Machine Tour and the new album. Funny thing is, I also happened to be wearing a Time Machine Tour shirt that very day. Crazy how things turn out. It's like they know...
  13. This is my Geddy Wall. Sadly, I don't have a color printer. http://i1031.photobucket.com/albums/y371/Priestess-of-Syrinx/New%20World%20Women/Img_0033.jpg http://i1031.photobucket.com/albums/y371/Priestess-of-Syrinx/New%20World%20Women/Img_0034.jpg But I did this anyway. It's amazing to wake up to Geddy every day, isn't it? Now, if it were the real thing...
  14. QUOTE (Babycat @ Nov 20 2010, 12:53 PM)QUOTE (garbo @ Nov 20 2010, 12:47 PM)QUOTE (NobodysHeroine @ Nov 19 2010, 04:29 PM) Don't you think it would be epic to see Geddy in a Loreal commercial? Happy (early) Thanksgiving. I was going to make it funny... until I discovered L'Oreal has a line of men's hair products. And then I realized that was funny in and of itself. http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v450/Garbo/Geddy_London_1992-1.jpg I wanna stroke his hair so much... I'd stroke more than his hair, if you know what I mean. I think you do, Babycat. Anyway... That is amazing, garbo. Beautiful. And I love that font! I guess I was wrong. Geddy can be in a Loreal commercial, for the men's hair care products. Who knew? If anyone's hair deserves Loreal, and his own commercial, it's Geddy!
  15. Don't you think it would be epic to see Geddy in a Loreal commercial? 16. It's Geddy Lee! How can I choose?! But I ended up choosing "Slipping." Whoever that song is dedicated to is the luckiest woman in this world. I have a feeling that she is Nancy, Geddy's wife of thirty-four years. I envy her so much.
  17. Definitely "The Pass." No more needs to be said. To know why so many love this song, all you need to do is listen to it. I am moved to tears every single time. Rush cites this as one of their personal favorites and I can see why. And I believe that they should bring this song back to their live shows. If I am not mistaken, the last time they played it was on the Vapor Trails tour. It is far too amazing to ignore.
  18. "Nobody's Hero," easily. And it happens to be my favorite all-time Rush song. In live performances, whenever Geddy sings the last line ("Noooobody's heroooooo...") as it fades to black, I get chills and tears well up in my eyes. It's like, "Damn it, Rush, stop making me cry!" But that shows you the power of their music.
  19. Wow, this was a very tough decision. A Farewell to Kings is my favorite 70s album. But I'm gonna go out on a limb here and say that I am rather partial to the song "Madrigal." The same thing goes for "Tears" from 2112. Maybe it's because I'm a romantic, but this song is so beautiful and says so much within two and a half minutes. I have always loved Rush's ballads. In vain to search for honor and in vain to search for truth But these things can still be given Your love has shown me proof Neil has a way with words, eh? It doesn't get much better than that. No one can write lyrics like him.
  20. I know what all of you Lerxst ladies are thinking: "Wait a minute, Kahme is a Geddy girl. What's she doing here?" Just so you know, I do love Lerxst, just not the same way I love Geddy. I have a stupid question to ask: does Alex have a middle name? I've looked him up on several sites and have not seen anything. Geddy's middle name is Lee and Neil's is Ellwood. Alex's parents are from Yugoslavia, so they may not have the same customs as Geddy's and Neil's families. It's weird. I've been a Rushian for a year now and just thought of that today.
  21. This is beauty, eh? http://i1031.photobucket.com/albums/y371/Priestess-of-Syrinx/Gorgeous%20Geddy/geddydiff.jpg This was not made by me, but made by a wonderful individual with many more wallpapers at: http://panacea.velvet-honey.com/. Back when my brother Mike had a large HD television screen that he rented, my old computer was being replaced by a new one and the old one was connected to the TV so my bro could back up all my files. I had this as my wallpaper and Mike made the joke that I could have a life-sized Geddy (the one in the upper left-hand corner). Then he added, "And you can't make out with it!" I just rolled my eyes and told him to be quiet. It's not like I'm some teenage fangirl that makes out with a *shudder* Justin Bieber poster. I have more dignity than that. Yet sometimes I wish that I could kiss the real thing. That would be something, though. Like if I went to a Meet and Greet for the band and after we took the picture I said to him, "Just one more thing. May I kiss you?" I wonder what his reaction would be. I've never been kissed by anyone, man or woman, so it would be EPIC if my first kiss was with Geddy Lee. Even if it were just a kiss to the cheek. I'd walk away and be like, "Oh, my God! I kissed Geddy Lee!!!" Then I'd faint. That would be hilarious.
