    Hey all! Stopped in for a bit and found this thread - thank you all so much! I've been doing well, just busy...I keep telling myself I've got to come back and visit more often, but time gets away from me. The Clockwork Angels tour was amazing; I ended up winning a band-signed litho at last year's RushCon, had front row seats for the Baltimore show this year, and took my mom to the shows in Connecticut and Atlantic City because my boyfriend didn't want to go to all the shows with me. We held up a sign in Connecticut that said "Mom's 1st Rush show", and didn't Geddy say hi to her TWICE, the second time into the mic!!! One of, if not the best, day of my life, and so cool that it happened right before Mother's Day. I'm missing the guys sooooo much now! What am I going to do with myself next year? :cool:

     

    Sadly, my kitty Hickory passed away in May. I knew she was declining, but didn't know the end was that near. I waited a while knowing that someone would probably have a kitty they needed to find a home for, and sure enough, in July I adopted a gray kitten from a co-worker and named her Mystic (Mysti) after Mystic Rhythms. She's a wild and crazy girl and keeps me hopping! Now the gray kitty smiley is perfect! :pussy:

    I have the chorus stuck in my head a majority of the time now, and I have no desire for it to leave. I also hope if they do this live, that Alex extends the solo that fades out at the end.

    My magazine had a slight tear in the same place when I got it, so I can't blame it on my kitty! I touched it up and taped it on the inside of the front cover to prevent it ripping further., and it doesn't look too bad. I figure I'll never sell it, so it doesn't need to be pristine.

     

    I took the ring off my keychain and made the keychain into a pendant and put it on a necklace. I already had a customer compliment me on it, and I got to tell her about Rush!

     

    I was feeling bad that the fanpack CD doesn't have the band photo in it (despite being beautiful otherwise), but the back of the poster with the names on it has a huge pic of it! *swoon*!

     

    Now I'm waiting on the vinyl from Amazon...hope they come through with it next week, as they say!

    I got the fan pack, so was a little disappointed at first that it was missing the band photo that the other CD's have (though beautiful otherwise), but there's a huge band photo on the back of the poster with the names on it, so that makes up for it. I loooove that photo too wub.gif 2.gif wub.gif

    On the other hand, my boyfriend continues to be his smartassy self - during our first listen to CA, BU2B2 gets over and he comments "I like that one...(pauses)...It's short" as he's looking at the track listing and noting it's the shortest one.

     

    Don't worry, I smacked him laugh.gif Seriously, he admitted liking Wish Them Well and even commented that it was...get this...religious...I suppose because of the forgiveness angle. I think he did enjoy the album.
