  1. I also have bought a pair of "smoking" tickets from a broker way back in I believe in October. He and I have not received the tickets yet either and YES I am a tad nervous. I am Canadian, coming over for a quick vacation and RUSH is our primary reason for going. The broker assures me I will be at the show even if he has to come to the venue personally to deliver the tickets. I leave Toronto May 20th so hope I have them "in hand".
  2. My brother and I have decided we are coming to the London England show in May. I want "once in a lifetime tickets" but of course the show there has been on sale a while now and those tickets are gone. Being from Canada I am unaware of the reputable tickets brokers and the sites I have visited are confusing with regards to the floor tickets. Some say General Admission, others have floor sections and seating. I am hoping for FRONT row. Can someone over there steer me in the right direction on the best sites, brokers to deal with. Thanks.
  3. Just a shout out to see if anyone else is having problems or is my BluRay player SUCK!! I have two copies of the new tour BLURAY and I watched them as soon as they arrived. One copy was for me, the other a gift. Anyways, watched the first half of the show...no problems to speak of. Then second half around Limelight or Camera Eye the picture and sound started freezing and skipping and "pixelating" constantly then even in Far Cry it froze and just shut off. Obviously I have checked it for dirt, scratches, etc. I opened and tried the "gift copy" and same thing...but not exactly in the same spots. I am very SAD!! I did an firmware update on my Bluray, Still the same. Anyone else having issues or do I need to take a hammer to my player. On another note, I hate Bluray..I have never had an issue with DVD but Bluray seems to be very "finicky". Kevin
  4. For you guys that know, I have Section 34, Row 3, Seat 5. I assuming they should be pretty awesome but your thoughts on how close I will be to Big Al !!! Let me know.
  5. My brother and I are coming down in June for a bit of a motorcycle trip and want to take in the Rush show for the 4th time this tour. I am looking for tickets online from the "scalper" sites and can get them but I have a hard time giving them full premium ticket price and then another 20% service charge on top!! Is there a way around this fee. Does anyone on this site have "connections" where I go pick them up will call or somewhere around the venue. I don't want to risk not having tickets before we come, just in case I can't find anything good at the show. Any suggestions or just bend over and pay the service charges??
  6. A agree the boys played amazing last night. Basically flawless IMHO. This is the 3rd time seeing them this tour and I have one more time in Austin, Texas in June. I have seen them every tour since Grace Under Pressure. Alex was shredding, Geddy was on fire and Neil (I thought) looked strong. The sound was spectacular where I was sitting. The best thing for me was taking my 9 year old son to his first concert. He loved it and watched intently. He was pissed off at all the people getting up from their seats over and over disurpting the show for everyone else. I don't know about others here on this forum but HOLY CRAP sit the f**k down, forget the beer, hold your piss and pay F**king attention to the greatest musicians of our time. Get beer and piss at intermission and when the master of the drums is showcasing his talent pay him the respect he deserves by watching and listening. Sorry for the rant but come on...we are not at a baseball or football game!!! This is RUSH!
  7. Hey Guys, Touching base from Toronto, Canada. My brother and I have planned a trip to Texas in June and want to take in the concert at the Erwin Ctr. We are going to be motorcycling for a few days before the show and definitely don't want to miss it. Here's the problem...I want seats in around Section 21 or 34, rows 1-13 preferably and have found a pair on StubHub BUT the shipping date makes it scary to fork over my creditcard and not have the tickets before we go. What's your experience with just showing up at the venue the day of the show with cash in hand and just scalp some for these sections. Is that too risky not to get a seat??? I have seen them twice this tour (Toronto and Vegas) and don't want to miss them in Tx. Any thoughts??
