Great CGI, really good acting and a very cool and unique concept, but I feel the plot, unexpectedly to me, morphed into a theme that has been used before although not like what District 9 offers. Lots of action, tons of gun play, and blood and guts and that stuff, but not like Hostel, or Saw blood and guts. It's got a message but they don't slap you in the face with it, it's kind of implied. My biggest criticism is it left me wanting more. (Is that criticism or a sign of a good movie?) It's has a begining, middle, and end, but it left me asking, "what happens next"? I'd would definitely see it again, and would definitely recommend it. I hope they make a sequel.
