OK, for the first time since about 1987-ish, I have a turntable. My new turntable is "stupid" and simple. The arm has to be placed manually and removed manually. Unlike, turntables in "the good old days" that had a mechanism that lifted the arm at the end of the album side and shut off the drive belt. Anyways, playing my old vinyls again. Often, the side of the album ends and the needle gets to the zone just next to the paper label before I get over to shut it off. I have discovered something.... When side 1 of Fly By Night ends, and the needle is going around the album just next to where the paper label is glued on, there is the distinct sound of some sort of accoustic instrument- like bells or triangles. :aliensmiley: Is this real????
