  1. Today was the airing of the last episode of (British) Top Gear one of the best shows that ever existed imho (maybe topped only by Monty Python's Flying Circus). Episode 8 of series 22 was a compilation of two films and hosted by May and Hammond. Watching it was a bittersweet experience. I really enjoyed the two movies (classic Top Gear) but at the same time struck by the mood created in the studio, which was empty and dull. I think that today the best program in last 20 years has ended. To borrow some words from a familiar poet N. E. Peart Sadder still to watch it die Than never to have known it For you, the blind who once could see The bell tolls for thee... Goodbye Top Gear!
  2. Who do you think is the more accomplished guitarist of these three legends? Or if you like who do you prefer?
