This is it. After this it's all over. No more will there be any doubt. This thread will explain the true differences between Fly By Night and Caress of Steel. Is it miles or is it inches? I know a song about this. Would you like to hear it? do do do do do do do and, one, two, three... They are secrets to each other Each album like a novel that only RUSHIACS have ever read Even joined in bonds of metal brotherhood They are linked to one another by worn out denim threads They are planets to each other Fly By Night is Neptune and Cos is Uranus Each album worlds apart Light years between them and no rocket ship Just between these discs I think it's time for us to advertise The differences that RUSH freaks already know Just between them I think it's time for us to surmise The daylight in between Leave room for COS fans or fans of Fly to crow They are strangers to each other Full of metal goodness, a total heavy riff show Revealing well-constructed themes but they're playing from the heart unlike ELO Just between them I think it's time for us to revise The differences between Cos and FBN Just between us I think it's time for TRF to Baptize Fly by Night or Caress of Steel Leave room for 2112 to blow They are islands to each other Building prog rock bridges on troubled mainstream seas Will one be burned and thrown away? Some fools will not choose, but will probably post anyway Just between us I think it's time for us to analyse The differences between FBN and COS you know Just between us I think it's time for one to be aggrandized and one to be bastardized finally leave no doubt between them Leave room for one of these to glow and the other to eat the yellow snow

RUSH guitarist Alex Lifeson says that he will spend the next 14 days "self-quarantining" to help prevent the spread of COVID-19, the disease caused by the new coronavirus. Earlier today, Lifeson took to RUSH's official Twitter to write: "Just returned from Spring Break with my gKids. We are all self quarantining for 14 days. All travellers should. Looking forward to getting caught up on Netflix!! Send your top viewing suggestions. – Alex" The province of Ontario, where Alex lives, currently has the largest number of COVID-19 cases in Canada. On Saturday, Ontario reported 24 new cases, the highest daily increase since the outbreak began, bringing the total number of cases to 103. There have been more than 169,000 confirmed cases and more than 6,000 deaths so far, putting public health systems and emergency services under immense pressure. Officials have made it clear that the elderly — especially those with heart, lung and immunological conditions — are particularly vulnerable to the coronavirus, with at least 25 deaths linked to one nursing home in Washington. In Italy, which has one of the oldest populations in the world, one hundred percent of the people who have died have been over 60, and the vast majority over 80

The band known as RUSH, consisting of Jedi Lee, Alex Zivo and Neil Twerp, have created many a great tune in their time, but how true to life are they? Have you experienced things in their lyrics in your everyday life? Such as the angry mob from Witch Hunt, or in the case of this thread, the grim-faced and forbidden? Where are the grim-faced and forbidding ones in your world?

There's a time for eatin' as much as we can The time is now and there's no stoppin' us There's a time for feedin' on as much pizza as we can Behind us you will only see our crusts You know we're havin' good cakes And we know we're gonna get gas Our gut will feel much lighter when it's past We feel no need to worry If gut rot makes us sad Our mem'ries remind us Maybe Rolaids ain't so bad Just keep eatin' and drinkin' every day And try to keep our thoughts away from gas We're trav'lin' around, when there's no time for Sunday roast We satisfy our hunger pangs with toast Well from plate to shining plate and a hundred snacks in between Still we go on diggin' ev'ry single bite The eateries of the land all extend a welcome hand Till closing time then it's time to go You know we're havin' tacos And we hate that we get gas Our gut will feel much lighter when it's past We feel no need to worry If gut rot makes us sad Our mem'ries remind us Maybe Rolaids ain't so bad yeah yeah yeah yeah, yeah yeah

I've still not heard the VT Remix yet, so I can't comment. You know the albums, you know songs by now, so does the VT Remix change your opinion? Does VT now beat out Clockwork Angels? Does it close the gap, does it open up a bigger gap? Have at it... :hail:
