I would love to hear them play Available Light this time around! In my opinion The Garden is the best song on CA. Love the passion on both of those songs. Does anybody know if they ever played Light live? I have been to every tour since 2112, but my memory is not that good cool10.gif Wonder why?

Nope they skipped it during the Presto Tour and never played it Live! Why...beats me?

Because it would suck live, that's why.

Love the recording, but we don't need another crowd entusiasm dampener song.

    Im with this one

I agree with most sentiments re: Tom Sawyer being one of their best in the sense that it was probably their most catchy while retaining that brutal riffage and complexity. And it had a 'tude which I think the radio popularity attributed to.

To me Tom Sawyer is as great as every other Rush song.

every other Rush song? so you mean it's like right up there with Dog Years, Virtuality, Tai Shan, Face Up, etc.? confused13.gif tongue.gif

Dog Years is a freaking awesome song. One of Rushs best. I would definitely hold Tom Sawyer and Dog Years as the same. Now the Pass?? thats a different story. The Pass in its entirety doesnt hold a candle to the opening line of Tom Sawyer.

what kind of backwards existence do you live in?

Im guessing youre that 50 year old fat guy that lives in his moms basement and eats his PBJs with the crust cut off. Or at least you WISH you were man enough to be that guy wink.gif

Keep re celebrating puberty and how sad the world is while cranking out The Pass with tissue box in hand. But when Tom Sawyer or Dog Years come on please try to grow the hair back a little.

  5. I was kinda surprised how low Tom Sawyer sat at 9.68% in the voting in the Feedback section. Its obviously considered by the 'mainstream' to be one of their, if not THE MOST, most famous Rush songs. Are we diehards just tired of it? is it because its on the radio more often then most songs? Have we heard it too much? Do we not want to seem as though ' oh you like Rush you must like Tom Sawyer'? Or is it just that Tom Sawyer draws fans in and then after exploration you realize their is just a huge wealth of amazing songs?

If there's ANY instrumental that's overplayed, it's YYZ. Don't get me wrong...YYZ is classic, but just saying. The last time they played LTTA before this tour was back in '02.

But i do agree that seeing them bring back Where's My Thing would be awesome yes.gif

Yea, YYZ is one of the most epic songs but I get a bit tired of hearing it every year. Id take limbo also. Just for one year.
