  1. My son and I had front row seats at the end of the stage on Alex's side. The sound started out muddled at first. We had a bass speaker right in front of us that rattled our clothes with every bass drum thud by Neil. They did get the sound sorted out by the second set though, and overall it was a wonderful show. Every song from Moving Pictures was awesome! Well worth the money it took to get up close...

There is a link to the ticketmaster web page for the show. Scroll down a little to find a seating layout. There are three sections. This could be wrong because I seem to recall only two sections on the floor for any show I've been to there, but maybe it's just arranged differently this time.

Thanks for the reply. Yes, Ticketmaster and Stubhub both show three sections, but there are a couple of other ticket sites that show only two.

  3. I've got tickets in Section 3 at the April 3, 2011, show in Nashville at the Bridgestone Arena. I've seen layout maps that show Section 3 next to the stage on the left (in front of Alex) and I've seen layout maps that show only two sections up front, with Section 3 behind Section 1 on the right (in front of Geddy). Does anyone know for sure what the layout is going to be?

    Thanks in advance!

  4. I was there on the right side of the amphitheater, and about 1/3 of the video screen was blocked by the speakers. I thought the crowd was pretty good, and the band was awesome! The second set seemed to work better than the first set; both were great, but I think the lighting worked much better after sundown and allowed the crowd to get more into the second set. I'm excited to see them again in a month and half in St. Louis.

BTW, if any of you have pictures of the concert you'd like to share, please add a link to them...

Just got back from the show. Wow. Maybe the best show by them I've seen (this was number 10 for me). The setlist seems wierd, but it really works. The first half did not drag at all. The films were hysterical. The new songs kicked major ass. The songs never played before also kicked ass. Excellent light show. They seemed to be having a lot of fun. The crowd seemed to have a lot of fun. Just wow.

Thanks for the eyewitness account. My 15-year old son and I are going to see them tomorrow night in KC, and I'm stoked! I saw them for the first time since '82 in Houston in '07. Then I took my son to see them in Austin in '08. We're going to catch them in KC and STL on this tour (at least).

Sure, if I were in charge of deciding what they should play, I'd probably change a few songs (mainly in the first set). But I'm grateful just to be able to see them live. People, the future is uncertain. Appreciate the fact that they are out there touring NOW and we have the ability to enjoy them.
