I am still learning to play bass, but to get more life out of bass strings I read you boil them in water shrinks the metal;takes the stretch out of them........ hmmmmm maybe I should email mythbusters... lol

one of my faves is Bonham....... just his style, power, and humor made him who he was...... after '75 weight, alcohol, other vices started to affect his playing IMHO
