My first was the Time Machine 2010 Steampunk one I got at SPAC

2010/2011 charcoal red gear one I got on clearance at rush.com.

I also have the "RASH" shirt that came with the Time Machine Blu-Ray at BestBuy because I couldn't resist.

I also have a plan red shirt that I figure is about as close as I'll get to a Hold Your Fire shirt.

  2. I'm pretty good at remembering things, I'll probably be able to do all of them.

That said, I don't like the sound of my own voice, so I don't sing along, unless I all alone and somewhat out of my mind.

I've already got Headlong Flight down, though it did take a bit longer than usual. I've got 5 months between the release of CA and the Buffalo show (bought my ticket today), I should be set, unless they make Dog Years part 2.

    I'll go with 90%.

i log on using two computers and throw tickets back until i find something in the first 10 rows it has worked everytime.

My plan as well. I know that they release more good seats as time goes on, I'm not sure how I want to go about it, but it can't hurt to sit there next Saturday.

I signed up for the Newsletter and didn't get an email. Besides I had a bad experience last time. I actually yelled at my computer when I saw it on RIAB.

Though many people have had a good experience.

The Buffalo show goes on sale the 28th and of course it's on the week I don't get paid laugh.gif

I'm fine with the Saturday sale date, I won't be at work.

...I do get paid that week too. laugh.gif

  5. I've listened to them enough that 1 more time won't hurt, plus by that time it will have been over 2 years, what's 10 more minutes.

Besides I'm sure Headlong Flight will have received plenty of plays by then as well, but I'm not skipping that either.

  6. Pink Floyd, they actually got me in to music. I never really searched, and I didn't like what was on the radio. It was Pigs (Three Different Ones) that hooked me, and the strangeness of their discography really got me.

That explains my avatar. hey had a giant inflatable pig for the concerts from Animals on. It became a symbol of Roger Waters departure when it got tied up in legal fights and the band put a giant genitalia on it.

Other bands that can lay claim are Porcupine Tree (and Steven Wilson in general, but his best stuff is Porcupine Tree) and Dream Theater has recently become an obsession of mine.

Also the standard cadre of Yes, The Who, Van Halen, Pearl Jam, and such that make up more of the list but it's really muddy.

  7. Might as well put my cat here, even if she is impossible to get a good picture of, I had to take about 50 before I got this ok one.

If the picture is too dark she looks black, too bright and she can't stay still...plus laser eyes (I bribed her with everything from treats to catnip)

I ended up getting this one by distracting her with a flashlight.

Here's Claire (who turns 5 months old today)

Even this picture doesn't get her most prominent marking, a white/cream splotch that goes from her chin down to her upper chest, but it gets the 2 orange stripes on that side, and her black whiskers are hard to make out.

I need to get more/better pictures.

She is a really good cat though, just still an energetic kitten.

It has snowed for 3 straight days here. We're up to about 90 cms (3 feet).  It is supposed to continue tomorrow.  This is a result of a 'snow squall', which is wind from the northwest, blowing over the warm water of Lake Huron and picking up moisture. Since it's cold enough, it is dumping it as snow in a localized section once it hits land.  Half an hour west of here, they have no snow.  At least we bought a snow blower this year.  Since we have no place to go, let it snow...

    speaking of Lake effect snow.

I've brushed off about a foot of snow off my car since Monday, and about 5 inches after work everyday since Monday.

and another foot or so expected tonight. (not sure that that is in cm), then a few inches tomorrow, then a day or two without [much] snow then more snow.

    hooray winter

  9. Now let's see what happens with the "other guys brake pads"

OH MY GOD WE'RE BURNING ALIVE!!

    (poor new guy)

It's the only movie where I have the VHS and DVD version (to be honest it's the only VHS I still have that I didn't make)

  10. Braid

Finally decided to look in to Xbox Live arcade and it was recommended to me. I've been trying to give my Xbox more attention since I got Netflix.

    and

Halo: Reach. but that's mostly because everyone else I know is. I'm not to particularly fond of it...mostly because I am probably the worst Halo player to ever play the game....and I've been trying since the first Halo. I'm pretty bad at first person shooters in general (no matter the control scheme, so keyboard/mouse doesn't work for a hopeless case such as me)

and there's always that lingering Illusion of Gaia game hanging around an emulator....oh and various classic platformers that I occasionally pick up and play.

now...what to do with that Wii (and to a lesser extent that DS).
