Come on! We need more Alex pics!
-
Cool! Were any Rush members sighted at all?
-
It's Geddy'sMullet. There is a thread for the documentary in the videos section of the forum. Glad the people who went to see the Manics enjoyed the shows! Hope a member of Rush can make the gig in Toronto tonight! Fingers crossed!

A Design For Life performed in Los Angeles the other day (Or last night, can't quite remember!) Anyway, sound qualities not great but this vid is good for seeing the crowd reaction. American fans pogoing and singing along, fantastic!

Review of the Manics gig from Seattle and the authors chance meeting with a certain James Dean Bradfield!

Great stuff Tarkus! Which albums are you interested in getting first?
-
Oh and to any member of Rush who is free on the 4th of October, that is when MSP are playing Toronto so if you like wanna pop along that would be very cool indeed!
-
Here's the link - Enjoy!

Aaaaaaaw! That's very nice of you to say Earl! I think that the Manics have a sort of affinity with Rush in a roundabout way. They have this warmth about them that you can't help being drawn to I suppose. Sounds like the Vancouver gig went down a storm, just been looking at a vid of the performance of No Surface All Feeling from the Everything Must Go album and James just sounds amazing. Will put the link up actually cos it's that good!

A Canadian MSP fan was saying Alex lives in Toronto so what about tonight instead Al? Waddaya mean you're going skiing with Neil in Whistler? This is an opportunity not to be missed man! It may never happen again!
-
Alex you've gotta go! Want your opinion on album title track Journal For Plague Lovers and it's nod to Spirit Of Radio!
-
A Manics/Rush jam would be excellent! (Can Alex not travel over to Vancouver, there's a few hours to go yet, I'm sure he could manage it! )
-
Yeah, Isle Of Wight festival does tend to draw quite large crowds. Maybe not as many as Glastonbury though! I probably have seen that performance, would have watched it on the telly at the time!
-
Cool! Glad you like them! Check out the others as well if you get the chance. Seattle gig had a good mix of songs so will be interesting to see what the setlist is for the Vancouver one. Some photos already up on some peoples photostreams.
-
I haven't Steevo, sorry! The gig at Seattle last night/ yesterday (depending on your time zone!) sounds like it went really well! Vancouver tonight! Lucky Canadians!
Alex, Neil, Ged - If you're not doing anything y'know................

Reports are now coming in from those who went to see the screening and it's all positive so far, so well done! Looking forward to it's UK release!
-
I want to see Echo & The Bunnymen in Wolverhampton here in the UK but I still haven't got round to checking for tickets so they've probably sold out by now. Dang!
-
Thanks for those! He was very cute in his youth as well!
-
Yum yum! Lovely Alex!
-
James Dean Bradfield will be doing an in store gig and signing at Newbury Comics in Boston hours before the Manics gig on the 8th of October. You lucky people of Boston! How jealous am I?
-
Surely you could have said more about James other than just 'He's anxious but willing' !
-
Those clips are FANTASTIC! Thank you so much! Want to see it all now!
-
Just noticed this thread! Cheers for the info and clips GM! Much appreciated! I think this film is an interesting piece of work for both Manics and Rush fans and I can't wait for it to be officially released! Really glad I joined this forum now!
