    Getting a speeding ticket

    A male driver is pulled over by a cop and the following conversation takes place:

     

    Man: What's the problem officer?

    Cop: You were going at least 75 in a 55 zone.

    Man: No sir, I was going 65.

    Wife: Oh Harry. You were going 80.

    (Man gives his wife a dirty look.)

    Cop: I'm also going to give you a ticket for your broken tail light.

    Man: Broken tail light? I didn't know about a broken tail light!

    Wife: Oh Harry, you've known about that tail light for weeks.

    (Man gives his wife a dirty look.)

    Cop: I'm also going to give you a citation for not wearing your seat belt.

    Man: Oh, I just took it off when you were walking up to the car.

    Wife: Oh Harry, you never wear your seat belt.

    Man: Shut your mouth, woman!

    Cop: Ma'am, does your husband always talk to you this way?

    Wife: No, only when he's drunk.

    The one thing that bugged me was the RIAB Rolling Stone cover. Even though I knew it was likely a fake, I still got excited by the possibility of it. I was annoyed, yes, but had to acknowledge how well they pulled off the ruse.

    Anyway, no need to ban LosingIt or tell him to go f*ck himself for playing a prank - he was just having some fun - in a week or so we'll all hear the song and it will all be moot.

    I truly understands the sleasy factor of the "behind the scenes" business of NCAA sports.

     

    But quite frankly, it is a rich and powerful business!

     

    And this is the part I loathe about college sports!

     

    With this said....

     

    I still love my UK Wildcats!!!

    Most fans of any given team are annoying.

     

    I can not stomach to listen to talk sports radio or read message boards!

     

    Why?

     

    Because there is a high percentage of fans of any given team that are annoying!

     

    I don't mind having a good jab with fans of other teams.....

     

    But attempting to degrade them is a completely different animal!

     

    It is all about "In Your Face!"

     

    I am too old for this BS......

     

    I enjoy my teams and hope they win.

     

    But it is definitely not life or death!

     

    It is a game but we have created a monster out of it.....

     

    This is a microcosm of our beloved country!

     

    But I digress.......
