Good musicians, but far too many love songs. But what do you expect from a female band called Heart? I think Hole is more relevant to my own life. I'm just not a fan of romance. It's such a prosaic, unoriginal subject. Completely overdone. IMO

Just treat February 14 like any other day. Go to work or school. Go to the gym or take a hobby class. No need to stay at home feeling sorry for yourself. That's just lame.
Pretend it's just another day, or forget about it altogether.

The title of this thread is insulting. No one uses the word "kraut" anymore. It's a pejorative term. It's like using the N word or calling an Italian-American a "guido."

Pam's not as relevant as she was 20 years ago. Nowadays everyone is all gaga about GAGA. One thing I don't like about Pam is her affiliation with PETA. I believe in animal rights, but I hate PETA's tactics. I lump them in the same category as Scientologists. Pam's last ad got banned in Montreal. TPTB said it was sexist.

All the critics seem to be trashing this movie. I wanted to see it though, but I haven't yet. I saw the trailer & it looked cool. What I've learned from the past is that a lot of critics are artsy fartsies who have sh** taste in movies and I usually like everything they don't. I also think that a lot of film reviewers are bitter ex-actors who never made it.

Usually I like this forum but I've noticed lately there are a LOT of pity party threads. Sorry I don't play that game. I think it's kinda pathetic. Just go out and get a life. Take a class. Join a baseball team. Learn to play an instrument. Enough already. JMHO

I hated that book. It was the most boring, long winded thing I've ever tried to read. I say "tried" because I couldn't even finish it. Melville spent a whole chapter discussing whale drawings, which had nothing to do with the plot. Then he devoted another chapter to the whale line, which was even worse. Usually I try to get to the end of the novel, but in this case it was impossible. While I was suffering through this book, I found myself constantly saying, "who f***ing cares?"

I found a Nino Ricci novel in the library when my debit card wasn't working while the bank's server was down. He's my new favorite author.
I saved at least $50.00 today because of all the money I DIDN'T spend. LOL

I have money in my chequing account. I won't say how much, but it's enough. I tried to buy DVDs and books today, but my debit card got rejected at 2 different stores cuz the stupid bank's server was down. So I embarrassed myself not once, but twice. One of those store clerks was a nasty blonde bitch with an attitude.
Then I felt like I wanted to strangle someone. But I just emailed the bank instead. There was nothing on their homepage about when the system would come back up. When I tried to take out money from an ATM, I got a strange message that said the bank was off-line or something. I just wasted an hour of my *****ing time. I hate that.

Perez Hilton is an ignorant misogynist who can't write or spell. He listens to shitty music and he dresses like Peewee Herman. I would never want to be mentioned on his blog becasue I would feel like an accomplice to something. Guilt by association. That prick needs to be sued for libel and cyberbullying. I could've started a thread about him, but I didn't because he's not worth it. Piece of human trash. There's a reason why the manager of the B.E.P. punched him in the face. He deserved it.
