    I'm thinking me too, this album is tough to narrow down. i have natural science in my head, so will go with that, however the entire album rocks- love freewill, especially the instrumental middle.

    You had to sit right in front of the stereo, waiting for them to announce the song, hold your tape player up to the speaker, and hit the play and record buttons at the same time, at the exact moment the song started to get it taped correctly.

    If I still had all of those old tapes they would contain great music with the first few seconds of every song missing and half of the next song or a commercial at the end.

    OMG how many times did we have to QUICK be ready with the 'play' and 'record' buttons, and wishing the stupid DJ would SHUT UP because you wanted the song - not some schmoe trailing into The Trees with '... bla bla on WYSL'..... always the tinny sound with the big 'chunk' at the end when you stopped - unless you were slick and had a 'pause' button

     

    or the tiny transistor radio with the long antenna....

     

    or someone walking in to ask you about your homework while you were trying to record rofl3.gif

    My ticket for Moving Pictures tour was $9.50, and I got front row, center for Power Windows for $40.

     

    Those were the days...

    right? my moving picture tic was also $9.50, and that was in the 'gold section' if only i could find my tiny baseball style MP shirt! damn!! boy, i'd photoshop my ticket if i could figure out how to make a flippin signature!! angry.gif

     

    of course growing up, looking at the covers while listenting to the album, reading every credit and lyric. used to tent my album cover over the speakers while lying on the basement floor with my head between them - no ipods with bose headphones for us, boy!! tongue.gif old.gif

    my hemispheres album is RED VINYL - bought it in Toronto on a school field trip - imigine my surprise when I opened it!

    hardcore for 28 years. visions of myself lying on the floor with my head between the speakers playing my red vinyl album of hemispheres (i bought in toronto on a school field trip) over and over.... b_sigh.gif

    defending Geddy's screeching vocals in 2112, air drumming the runs of Tom Sawyer ( when it was original and cool) tongue.gif cool.gif ...playing permanent waves til it wore out with scratches, joining my sorority -XAN in college in tribute to one of my favorites wub.gif
