I guess Doc and I are the only people still watching which doesn't surprise me at all.

 

This season is a total dud.

 

Bad acting by all. Even Jessica Lange is bad, the girls who plays her daughter (took the acid bath) is awful. Gabby Siba-whatsherface is horrible! The main girl (with the poison snatch) is ok, but she has great hair! Stevie Nicks chick is stupid...and the guy who plays Frankenstien...well...I guess he plays that idiotic role well.

 

The story sucks out mother f'n loud!!! No intrigue, suspense, mystery, HORROR...Nothing that made the first season great and the second season just slightly mediocre. This season has nothing. I've compared it True Blood, Vampire Diaries, and Charmed and that is all it has become. Another melodramatic, teenage, "wouldn't it be great if we had magical powers" corny ass waste of time.

 

Can anyone figure out where this story is going to go? Does anybody care? There are no hero's/heroine's to root for. No mysteries to unravel. And no villains to curse.

 

Other than the fact I get to sit down with my wife and spend an hour with her, there isn't anything keeping me watching...Oh yeah...that and that I WANT to like it and hope with each new episode I'm given a reason to want to watch....But it ain't happening.

 

I think I'm done...somebody post something to let me know if anything happens worth watching.

This season is by far my least favorite of the 3, but I still like it. It seems they're really moving this season much slower than the previous ones, not a million things happening in every episode. I disagree about the acting, besides that Prescious girl who I can't stand! I hate to compare, but the worst of this show is still much better that The Boring Dead.

Season 1 was ok, 2 sucked big time, 3 was good, and now back to the same boring shit with stupid characters. 4 seasons in and it's just an alright show- really wanna like it, but the horrible writing and dragging pace kill it for me. At this point, I'm really sick and tired of the whole zombie thing too- it's played out

I am with you. Not sure I am going to keep watching for much longer. I don't even know where the show could go that would save it at this point.

At this point, it's just a way for me to pass an hour on Sunday night. Really losing interest more and more every week.

I enjoyed this weeks episode. Things are starting to pick up now. The witchcraft vs. voodoo story looks like it will be the main plot for this season and the whole Frankenstein thing will just be a side story. Which is a good thing in my eyes.

Yup, I'm into it. This season is a little slower to take off, but that's not a bad thing imo. But, I was looking forward to seeing Alexandra Breckenridge(sp?) a little more!

That's usually how this show is- I like it, but some episodes are so boring.

Thought it was very mediocre. For a season premiere it was pretty uneventful.

Just got it the other day. Still need to watch it though.

Awesome band! Was gonna check them out with Clutch this month, but the show got cancelled because Neil from Clutch needs surgery or some shit.

I always encourage everyone to see the band at least once- even if you hate the music it's a must. You should go too- helluva show!

 

I agree. I saw them about 20 years ago and went specifically just to say I saw them. Couldn't stand the music but the show was great!!!!

Absolutely! Nobody puts on a show like these guys.

I LOVE GWAR!!!! Seen them maybe a dozen or so times and met them numerous times over the years. I always encourage everyone to see the band at least once- even if you hate the music it's a must. The last time I saw them was 2 years ago and I convinced my fiancé, brother and sister in law all to go- family night with GWAR. They stood as far back as possible, but I always try to get as close as possible and get soaked as much as I can. White shirts are a must too. You should go too- helluva show!

Don't suppose they filmed two nights to be able to edit in both set lists?

They filmed the previous show in Phoenix also. The songs the didn't do in TX are included as extras.

I'm a huge fan of traditional doom. You guys should check out Saint Vitus, The Gates Of Slumber, Pentagram and Reverend Bizarre. There's a bunch more, but to me these are some of the best. Doom On!

Different singer and they ditched the punk stuff. I didn't get it for a long time, but now it's my favorite from them.

 

Joy Division - Closer

Huge fan of Unknown Pleasures, but something about this album was so impenetrable to me for a long time.

Hmm, maybe I should check it out. After Beneath The Shadows I gave up on T.S.O.L.

My GOD, after all these years I still get the same rush of joy listening to AC/DC as I did when I first (truly) discovered them when I was 12.

It was a good read. I feel bad for the guy after reading it- how he got snubbed at the rock and roll hall of fame. Just the fact that he played on the Let There Be Rock album is deserving enough imo! Not to give too much away, but Bon was a really nice guy, and the Young's come across as cold- if you cross them you're fukked!
