  1. I was at the show in GSO last night also. Row 25 ,sec B seats 11,12. As usual it was just awesome. I have seen the last 6 or 7 tours including Time Machine last year in Bristow, VA. This is the first time I have seen them indoors in like forever! (I'm glad because it was windy and cold!). I saw 3 flubs if I remember, one video and two audio but they pulled out of them well. I took a co-worker who is a big music fan but has never seen RUSH. He was BLOWN AWAY. I mean speachless. He told me it had to be one of the greatest shows he has EVER seen and he is in his late 40's like me.

I don't know how those guys keep doing what they do. Amazing!

Sorry if this has been discussed. I searched and didn't see anything. I might take some lumps for saying this but it sounds to me like Ged's voice is tremendously weakened this tour. I've noticed in listening to some shows on this tour his voice cracks alot. Believe me, i'm not bashing the man. He's out there giving all he has as all three are. I just think all of these years of singing live and trying to hit high notes is finally catching up. It really saddens me to say this because I believe they'd tour into there 70's if they could put on a Rush caliber show. IMO Geddy Lee's voice just won't allow it to go on much longer. Again I'm not trying to trash the man. We all get old.

I don't know but in Bristow VA last night he was hittin' the high ones..

ive been to many shows in my 20 years and this is the third time ive seen  2.gif . This was by far the best show I have ever seen. all three of em were on fire. Geds voice was outstanding, Lerxst was shredding and Neil was being the professor. The crowd was really into it for the entire show. I dont think i saw anyone sit down during any of the show. the boys were really feeding off of the crowd energy. and Moving Pictures.....wow just wow. The Camera Eye was really something else. I could go on and on about how great i thought it was, but after a 4 1/2 hour drive back to greenville nc, im beat  laugh.gif

I agree. They were full on last night. If this was being recorded I wouldn't be surprised if it ended up on the next blu-ray. The only thing I noticed that wasn't quite right was a number of times Geddy pointed to his ear - something in his monitor mix was not the way he liked it.

  4. I have been playing with/learning Garage Band for a while now. What a great program - if you have a Mac and IMHO worth the price of iLife alone. Any others here using/learning Garage Band?

This comes from me getting ready for knee replacement surgery on Dec 19. I had a "scope" on my knee (that didn't fix the problem ) in early Oct and was out of work for 2 weeks and just about went nuts!

I am trying to find something to occupy my time - and music is the thing. Trade garage band songs?

Fill in others songs? Seeing Rush the last few tours ( Including the FRONT ROW ) I know they (Geddy) uses Macs - probably Apple's Logic (whatever flavor - don't know but Apple laptops were all over the sides of the stage) but all these open Garage Band cuts.

A really cool idea - write a song for the band that they would record - with people contributing different parts. ( I see the legalize now ).. But would be a cool idea. Just thinkin-

    Any thoughts?

    Alan
