Just got it on BRD for Christmas and watched it tonight. Still brilliant. Best movie in a long time

Saw TRON today.
Some Thoughts;
1. Story was about as uninteresting and undeveloped as anything I've ever seen.
2. Characters equally uninteresting. I only STARTED to care about them in the last 20 minutes.
3. Special Effects and choreography were fairly good to superior but only in very small doses.
4. The chick has the most beautiful eyes I have ever seen.
I would not recommend anyone spend $60 for 4 people to see this movie, which is what we paid for IMAX 3D.

Look, a lot of people can't afford the luxury right now and it upsets them because they love the band and want to go. I understand the pain. 3 years ago I easily plunked down $600 for thrid row seats from scalpers cause I could afford it. I don;t have the money now, and it bums me out.

On the last leg I somehow missed the presale date (and $140 seats) and bought seats further back for $40 ea and had a great time.

I know RUSH agrees to the pricing, and I don't begrudge them earning a profit. I'm betting they could keep em lower and bet they'd have more sell outs with more affordable tix.
I'm really just amazed at the prices and am saddened for people who can't swing it in this economy. I might be one of them this time around.

I just logged in to look at prices for the 3 shows currently on presale and I am FLOORED!
$128 plus a $13 service fee! This a fargging ridiculous.

yeah, forget trying the management company. They are unbending. Despite my incredibly touching sob story they said "uh...no"
They claimed to me only contest winners are permitted, which is BS because there are members on this forum that have had multiple M&G's through contacts and I know a few other people who have gotten in through a multitude of ways. Some as simple as standing around outside a few hours before the show.

Personally I'm sick of movies that just overdose on profanity. Im know prude and will utter these words myself daily, but criminy, its just ridiculous to say it over and over and over.
Also, I hate when a movie will throw it in once just so it can get a PG 13 rating instead of PG. Bruce Almighty comes to mind. Great flick, good for the kids to watch until Bruce screams out FU. Why was that necessary?

Apparently he's been working on this for years. I'd heard rumors of it for quite awhile, but never thought it would actually come to fruition. Not my favorite genre of music, but will check it our when released.
I never really listened to bluegrass, but because its Tommy Shaw, I'll check it out. I listened to snippets of songs on his facebook and it sounded interesting.
