Happy Birthday! Another 10 years, and you'll be where I am! (Not sure if that's bad or not.)

"Maybe things will get better, don't you know that a drowning man don't get no wetter, and the same rain falls on you, falls on me." Robin Trower, Same Rain Falls Awesome Quote! Throughout the 40 plus years since I first heard that song, that line pops into my thoughts for no reason, and always makes me smile at the brilliance and simple truth that those words say.

Earl, I have to disagree with your belief that UFO is on the downslide. They've never put out a bad album, and the stuff they've done with Vinnie Moore over the last 14 years is top shelf! However I will agree with your comment about the proper way to listen to music, which is on a kick-ass stereo, in the comfort of your own house. Every weekend starting on Friday, I crank my stereo to the perfect volume and do an album(cd), a beer, and a bone, then repeat about six or seven times. Full albums, mind you. f***in' heaven!

Sorry, forgot that Rush took that short time off when Neil's life was shattered back in the late 90's

I'm a Trower fan since 1975. Him, Rush and UFO are the soundtrack to my life, since 1975, and Trower , like Rush and UFO had never taken a day off, career wise. And, he's still touring and recording. His last cd was one of his best. So, obviously Robin Trower over Travers for me!

I listened to Test For Echo this past weekend and I have Half the World playing in my head for about the last hour now!

42 years ago, at the age of 18, I saw Rush for the first time at the Springfield Civic Center, Ma., opening for Foghat. Got there late, and could hear 2112 playing from outside the arena. Great start to my lifetime of seeing Rush live everytime they toured close to Providence, R.I., right up to their last tour.

yes I agree, the new Schenker album is excellent, but I like the album he released before that more. However as long as Schenker is recording new music I'm there for the ride. What an awesome career that man has had. In my opinion, based on his longevity and enormous catalog of original music, he may be the best rock guitar player ever. Certainly one of my favorite. Rock on, Michael!

Once the initial orders go through, I"m sure they'll release the Blu-ray as a stand alone, probably in the late winter, early spring. Then I'll buy it.
