Distant Early Warning is really easy (for a rush song). In The End is too, but its boring to play, kind of. Tom Sawyer isn't that hard, and neither is Cygnus X-1 part one, and if you do manage to learn Cygnus as a beginner, i think you'll feel a pretty good sense of accomplishment

Yeah, I like Ibanezes, my first bass was an Ibanez. They do have really small necks. But if I play them too long I get cramps in my hand, so they're not really for me.

 

By the way, what does a bass piezo sound like?

Think of it as a jazz bass with some switches. The three switches on the pickguard are on and off switches for the pickups and a series paralell switch (so I can get a kind of p-bass tone) the stuff on the upper horn controls the active preamp. And its got a really great neck. Its basically almost exactly the same as the neck on the geddy lee sig (which is a genuinely great neck- super thin) with a rosewood fingerboard. And its real easy to ignore all the switches and such, cause its also the the good old volume/tone thing going on.

Yeah ricks are sexy in their own special way. They just don't look like anything else.
