    If your looking for a kick ass guitar....try out the Les Paul Ultra from Epiphone. I've had mine now for almost a year...and it friggin kicks ass. Not only is the tone awesome...but it's also super light! Most Les Paul's (probably all of them) are pretty heavy. Plus because it has "acoustic" chambers....the tone is so clear and acoustic sounding....but it kicks ass when it's on distortion.

     

    Pick up every guitar you see and play it. Find the tone YOU want.

    Same here...I was always getting modern Drummer and guitar one...it's just too expensive...

     

    I read usually Rollingstone and Spin....and Chart.
