There is a long sleeve shirt being sold at the shows (I purchased one in Austin). It is similar to the "trucker shirt" from the CA tour. This one has a large R40 on the front and each sleeve has four round circles with images that represent an album. They are the same images that are on Neil's R40 kit

I received emails and voice recordings from TM today stating that show times for both dates have changed to 8pm. Hoping they are filmed though.

Do the platinum tickets go on sale the same time as the public sale?

How much were the VIP Seats?

From what I have seen, Gold is $400 and Silver is $300.

Looking at the TM site for the pre-sales tomorrow, looks like all VIP will be done through TM (vs. the Live Nation site as was done in several of the previous tours). The exception being Montreal. I have been pouring through the posts and it seems there was a lot of frustration in trying to get the VIP Gold package last week.

 

I was hoping to get the Gold for my show. Can anyone pass along any strategies that worked? Or any advice?

 

I assume the scalpers are going to do what they always do and leave nothing for us loyal and dedicated fans.

Hi. I am just returning home from a business trip and very excited to learn about the tour. I have been pouring through the posts here and reading the details about the VIP packages on the TM/LN site. From what I have ascertained so far:

 

1. Two package types this go around.

2. Unlike in the past, you can see your section/row/seat(s) with the VIP Gold/Silver.

3. Unlike in the past, its practically impossible to score one of the packages due to the scalpers buying them up.

 

 

From what I read on the TM/LN it seams like it was in the past (i.e. purchase the package and then wait until show day to see where your seats are).

 

So I guess my question is, are the above 3 statements correct (really just statements 2 and 3)? I have purchased the VIP packages the past few tours and have had no problem at all getting them. I am guessing the remaining dates will go on sale January 30 and was hopping on getting the VIP gold package. Just trying to see if it is worth it or try for another pre-sale/general sale.

Have you even been to Nova Scotia before? If not, I would HIGHLY SUGGEST driving the loop around Cape Breton Island for stunning views of the Atlantic Ocean.

I have been to many places in the beautiful country of Canada, but this will be my first trip to Nova Scotia. I do plan on spending a few days on Cape Breton Island. I plan on traveling on the Cabot Trail.

 

I’m also going to see the greatest band in the universe twice in Halifax!!

I have an extra pair of floor tickets available for the Sunday, July 14^th show in Halifax. They are floor seats, section 52 (Geddy’s side), 8^th row.

 

 

 

Face value for the two tickets is $267 CAD. There is a $32 CAD service fee, but I’m not worried about that. I’m just asking for the $267 CAD.

 

 

 

I purchased these on the Music Today pre-sale and the only available delivery method was Will Call. So we would have to meet up before the show.

Anyone got their time of purchase handy? I've heard mixed reviews about the VIP tix actually being distributed by time of order...naturally i completed my order within 30 secs of them going onsale

 

The time on my email is 12:00:38. I don't know if the seating assignment is based on when you click "purchase". Or when you select the number of tickets you want and they are held for a specified amount of time to complete the purchase.

Great pics!!! Love the one with the multicolored spotlights. And yes a fantastic light show (as always).
