  1. Copying and pasting my post from the Concert Reviews thread

"I just want to say how happy I am that I went to the second night of Muse at Staples Center. I thought hearing MK Ultra was incredible the first night.

I've seen them twice so far on the Resistance tour (Oakland, Coachella) and 6 times combined but these past two nights (specifically night 2):

I have NEVER seen the band like this before and if this is the kind of show they treat their U.K fans to nightly then I have to say that I am incredibly jealous. Matt and Dom both talked a lot over the course of both nights and the crowds were incredible.

We got Bliss and Ruled by Secrecy!

The outro to Stockholm Syndrome on night 2 (The longest Muse jam to this day) was so heavy and amazing. Matt was tearing shit up. Even Neutron Star Collision was great. Absolutely incredible show.

I've been a HUGE fan of the cartoon series since Season one, thanks to my daughters constantly having it on. It caught my attention and sucked me in. The show is phenominal.

This trailer looks awesome! It started out great just watching Ang do his airbending - then to expand on the shot to see the Fire Nation attacking him. The ships look great in comparison to what they use in the show.

Definitely looking forward to this movie. yes.gif

If you're a fan of the show in any way at all do not go see this movie. Shyamalan has COMPLETELY murdered it. Absolutely gut-wrenchingly awful. The acting, the names, dialogue, how rushed it was. All the characters, introductions and backstories. It leaves an incredible amount of important information out. The list goes on and on.

  4. Heres another amazing set list (recent also but definitely one of their best...ever.)

  5. I just want to say that I think the slowed down verse in Closer to the Heart sounds awful. Why did they do that? And it would sound much better with the jam.

Closer to the Heart w/ Extended Jam

    2112: Overture/Temples of Syrinx/Grand Finale

    Encore:

    Far Cry

Huge improvement to the set list if they did this.

    My one and only gripe.

  6. I think the only bands that truly able to please every single one of their fans with their setlists are The Cure, Pearl Jam, Radiohead, and I guess if you're a fan Springsteen. No band, NO BAND does a set list like Pearl Jam. The Cure definitely give it their all too with stacked three hour set lists the entire tour. Pavement, if you're a fan, have had some AMAZING set lists on this reunion tour. Just a few examples. Pearl Jam set lists (this was 2 of 4 shows they played at the Spectrum arena). They truly give their fans their moneys worth.

  7. QUOTE (Mandalorian Hunter @ Jul 1 2010, 06:22 AM)

Order of the Phoenix was definitely a better film. The book was too long, especially for my 13 year old self - reading it on a summer holiday made me feel as if the holiday was long, uneventful and boring.

The book > Movie for me. Sorry but it's my favorite Harry Potter book and to think that it's the longest book but the shortest movie and they left out SO much.
