  2. I'd rather people save their battery for the second set.

I'd rather see the first myself.

Well what usually happens is the peoples batteries die and we miss out a lot of the second set.

..And we miss the first set if people save their batteries to do the second set.

That generally hasn't happened so far.

It's happened a few times.. one that comes to mind is CBus.. because it was me that did it :P

Or if people are smart they'll bring external batteries when they plan to scope ;)

  4. I can tell you with no degree of uncertainty that the numbers you see in the boxscore DO NOT include merchandise.

Merch is a completely separate entity and is handled by Showtech (RSBC people).

How can we get them to offer the Arf40 t-shirts for sale? I don't think there is one person on this forum who wouldn't buy one. In Zumbi's case, he would probably buy a dozen.

Email the RBSC folks and ask them to make them available for sale

Quite a few of us already did that. They say they can't do it. The shirts were custom made for Geddy's exclusive use. Furthermore, they told LABT that they (RBSC) had no connection with the band. There is a thread in this section LABT started all about trying to get the Arf40 shirts made available.

Showtech (RBSC) can reasonably say that they have no connection with the band... but those of us who know better, know better.

Yes, they're their own entity... but... what umbrella are they under?

Now if the ARF40 shirts are exclusive (like Neil's have been since S&A) that's another story altogether.

I would bet though that after the tour is officially over if there are enough 'squeaky wheels' we could see some reasonable facsimile surface from them.

    ETA:

I feel the sudden need to clarify something here.

Yes. Showtech has clients other than RUSH.

However, my statement of "...what umbrella are they under?" is for the sole purpose of RBSC/RUSH tours.

    ETA2:

I just read through the other (ARF40) thread. LABT didn't say that RBSC didn't have any connection with the band, they said they don't have any direct contact with the band.. which could very well be true. They certainly have direct contact with the art director(s) for the tour and I'm sure there is some back and forth comment wise with the band/Ray/Pegi/Andy etc.

From what I read, if all those emails are copy/pasted as is then they're just trying to say 'PISS OFF' very nicely. The shirts are for Ged.

That doesn't mean you can copy the design via CafePress or some other similar site.... then again, pesky copyright laws and such 0.o

  6. i'm dubious, they're using the same clowns who bitched up the clockwork angels video!

The video for CA tour was absolutely amazing. They had some really great shots of the band. It was editing/mixing that ruined that release. But the film itself was good.

Exactly. Hopefully they get someone else to edit it.

Allan appears to be in charge again.
